I doubt they will stay in business for long 😕

Having worked in a restaurant myself, I always like to cheer for new restaurants, trying out in this ungrateful business. But it's really hard to do, in the case of Gaucho's Fire.

The service was friendly, and the place looks nice for casual dining. We got to enjoy Brazilian soccer and an old John Wayne movie, an interesting combination on the two TV screens.

But the food... We had the pastels, which tasted greasy with a cheap beef filling. Then shared a beef skewer (the meat was tough) and the Feijoada (a small serving of beans with one piece of mostly cartilage and two pieces of sausage). Both came with a thin layer of average tasting rice, one with collard greens (not very good), the other with a bit of salad and fries. The fries were the best part, but clearly came from a frozen bag.

Generally, the menu looked overpriced ($3.50 for a bottled soda in a casual restaurant. Really?) and portions on the smaller size. But the food wasn't good, so portions don't matter, do they?

So bottom line: we will not come back, but they need to do something drastic in the kitchen to stay in business. I...

Stopped here for lunch and ordered the Brazilian lemonade, the pastels (one of each), and the Churrasco plate which included large servings of steak, chicken, sausage, and fries. We also ordered a side of collard greens. Our friend tried the Brazilian Stroganoff.

Everything we tried was delicious-I don’t think I could choose a favorite! The steak was cooked as ordered and was so tender. The sausage had a really nice texture and flavor. And the chicken was seasoned wonderfully. The fries were of course yummy. And the collards are not your typical southern greens, but they were so good! They were lightly sautéed and well seasoned. The pastels were perfectly fried, and each one had an awesome flavor.

I would absolutely eat here again, and recommend everything we tried. The service was amazing. Our waiter was so friendly, fast, and attentive. The atmosphere was casual, and the restaurant and restrooms were...

We visited the Garage location a number of times and loved it, so we had to try out their new restaurant up in Keystone. We went for a late lunch and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was pleasant and fast to get us drinks while we were exploring the menu. I opted for one of their rice dishes, Carreterio, while my fiancée got the Ultimate Brazilian Sandwich. The Carreterio was hot and fresh, but the flavor was a little bland in comparison to some of the other items I've had off their menu. However, the Brazilian Sandwich was truly stunning. Every bite was full of grilled perfection and a combination of perfectly seasoned meat and delicious sauce, leading to a peak of flavor decadence others may only dream of. We enjoyed our visit and are glad we tried the new location. Can't wait to get back and try the different versions of their loaded fries and some of their...

Great menu and food! Their fries are perfect - crispy but not hard. The Chicken Parm special was absolutely delightful! The cheese was like caramelized and soo good! I had the chicken skewer and really enjoyed it. They gave a great sauce selection too (very important). My only comment is the seating. At the price point, I’d like to see nicer seating that isn’t metal stools and cushioning on the wood booths. This place has a lot of potential! Service was great, as well.
