Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Indianapolis

UPDATE: Be careful ordering Door Dash through this location (In person may be ok, but i don't know... maybe things have gone downhill with new management or something.)

I ordered a Cobb Salad through Door Dash. I didn't receive any salad dressing at all. I work from home, it's usually pretty quick so i had it redelivered and again, no salad dressing. I just requested a refund through Door Dash. I wanted to order this again a couple days later, but was concerned I'd have the same experience again so i called the store to ensure that there was plenty of the salad dressing. After speaking with a manager, he verified that there was plenty of the avocado lime ranch dressing and he'd watch for my order to come in. In addition to ordering the salad, I also ordered a meal for my friend. Upon receiving the order, I received the meal, but no salad at all. I then call the store and speak to a female manager and she blames it on Door Dash. She pulls up my order and was like yeah, I see the salad and apologizes not receiving that, but on her screen, it didn't show salad dressing. I'm not sure if she never eats salads, but not many people or if anyone eats a salad without dressing.

My overall take.... great restaurant, whose reputation is being destroyed by incompetent management.

I was just at this location this evening for dinner with my parents and it was wonderful as usual! We all got our food just as we had ordered it and all loved it. Once we found a booth (close to the same one my dad and I usually get for daddy/daughter lunches hahaha) and sat down our food came out almost right away. It was hot and tasty as always. I had the #2 combo spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries and a Cherry coke and both of my parents had chicken strip combos, but my dad had a fruit cup instead of fries. We all loooved our meals and gobbled them down like there was no tomorrow! Oh, and also, I found out they have ice cream! I have never paid attention to the dessert menu so didn't realize it. But Dad wondered out loud what they had for dessert and asked if my mom and I wanted anything. We assumed he was craving dessert but he came back with cones for us and...NOTHING for himself! I guess he just wanted to show us up. That ice cream was creamy and so flavorful, and huge! I didn't have a problem eating it though! The service was great as usual, but I did notice the table felt a little sticky on my side. Nothing that will keep me from coming back though. As we were leaving a young man who had been sitting at a booth across the aisle saw us head toward the door and got up to open it for us. I will honestly say that I love Chick-fil-A and have never had a poor experience until last evening. As per normal our order was taken quickly, and was correct. Here is what was not ok nor up to Chick-fil-A standards. First of all my order was sitting at the window long before I had to pull completely up. The two young men were more concerned talking to whoever was working inside than they were with serving customers. Secondly, my food was handed to me without acknowledgement or conversation of any kind. The young man who handed my our food turned back around to talk with the person inside who appeared to be a supervisor of sorts. The conversation was about what type of coffee he planned to have when his shift was over. My niece had requested a bowl, I had to say excuse me 3 times (I am not soft spoken) before he turned around. Mind you he was at most a 18 inches away. Upon asking for a bowl the supervisor who was directly in the window said. “Well she’ll have to pay 32 cents”. My response to that is “seriously I just spent $30”. I am not sure which is more irritating the service, or a charge for a bowl. Sounds petty but truly...
