I was disappointed with my visit to Jordan’s on Pendleton Pike. As a business owner I live by giving my clients more and underpromising and overdelivering. Jordan’s did neither.
I called my order in on Saturday 12/14 at 4pm. I ordered a 30pc party wings and fries. The menu link online had a picture of the menu and it showed the 30 wings and fries priced at $29.99. I placed my order by phone and was quoted 20 minutes. I pulled up 45minutes after I place my order by phone and saw that the drive up had 3 cars in it so I parked and went in.
When I went to the counter I was greeted and asked the name my order was under. I gave the information and the person at the counter said it would be a few minutes the order wasn’t ready. After nearly 10 minutes waiting my order was finally at the counter and the person at the counter said your total is $41. The wings were on your menu on your site listed at $28.99. The person at the counter then replied, Oh yeah, that is wrong people have posted menus from different locations to our locations and the prices are wrong. Nonetheless I paid and am walking out nearly an hour past the time I was promised my food. I looked to the right at the drive thru and the same 3 cars that were there when I arrived were still sitting there. When I got home, I proceeded to divide the 30 wings ordered between my wife, daughter, and myself. After multiple counts we only received 29 very dry wings. Based on my visit I’d like to offer a few suggestions. Take them or leave them.
Always set the proper expectation for delivery of a customer's products/service. In this case telling me my order would be ready in 20 minutes was a clear case of overpromising. Someone should have said the order would take an hour. Do not take orders in the drive thru unless you are ready to fulfill the orders immediately like a fast-food establishment. Allowing customers to order in the drive thru and then sit there and wait for their order Is terrible service. Make sure your customer gets what they ordered in the quantity they ordered for the price they are expecting. The Pendleton Pike location failed miserably here and yes, I was not happy I was shorted 1 wing especially when I ordered 30 and ended up paying more than I expected. On top of this the wings were dry and I watched them come right out of the fryer in front of me. Post the same prices online as in the store. We ended up throwing the wings away.
Amended 12/15 230pm Since you were kind enough to respond to my review, I thought I'd provide some additional information for context since you responded without addressing my entire experience accurately. I arrived late to give you time to have the order ready. I doubt it was ready but I wasn't there in 20 minutes as promised on the phone. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I was still shorted a wing and they were still dry and chewy. Since you only want to selectivity address part of my review. My receipt is attached. I never said I paid $49 for a 30 PC but I did pay $40.32 with tax. Please read carefully before trying to imply the customer exaggerated. I didn't use the drive up but should have been able to as an option to quickly pick up my order. If you leave an email address I'll contact you directly to discuss further offline. I'm at a disadvantage because you have my name and contact information which I had to provide to leave the review. While I appreciate the response, my family was not happy with the food nor the price we paid. Again happy to address with...
Read moreService was mediocre. I spent 50.00. When I called in an order in advance and was told 15 to 20 minutes before my order. I purposely made a stop before coming there. Yes I know its Friday and I may have a slight wait time but not an additional 15 - 20 minutes to have food that was just ok. My husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, my daughter the double cheeseburger meal I ordered the large catfish dinner. I checked my food and in the large catfish order I was missing the coleslaw. I called before I left the parking lot to confirm if coleslaw comes with the large catfish dinner. I was told yes but we are out of it. Had I not asked they would have not told me. Not good customer service to me. Honesty and transparency will get you anywhere. All I would have done was ordered something different.Yes I know they have just opened but it wasn't that chaotic in there it could have been a little more organized. Needless to say I ran to KFC to get coleslaw for my fish. My husband said the Philly Cheesesteak was not good. He said I will stick with...
Read moreI called several times to place my order in advance. To no avail, I pulled up. I'm the only patron I. The establishment but the lady taking my order is on the phone taking what appears to be a large order. No problem, completely understand. What I don't agree with is how long it took for me to even place my order! Customer service is still king in this industry and it's over looked here. The inconvenience of not being able to place my order over the phone. Oh, I forgot to mention, same scenario yesterday as I tried to order and no one answered. I ended up with Marcos pizza next door! Food is great. Let's do better with call ins and handling patrons...
