If I could give this place 0 stars then I definitely would. I were terminated this past Monday after reporting twice to the health department of the filthiness behind the scenes. They tried to force me to work in inhumane conditions with dust flying everywhere from the vent that comes on once the back door is open. There are three pieces of ceiling tiles that are missing in the BOH so you have dust coming down from there as well. Not to mention the thick layers of dust on the ceiling fans in the dining room. I have addressed thrse issues many times to management prior to contacting the health department and the only responses I received where to clean it myself since I'm the only one complaining about it. I have really bad allergies to where the enormous amount of dust gives me headaches and nose aches. The managers leave the office trash overflown. As well as prep cooks leaving food uncovered for hours. Especially the cookies all day. Crumbs are left overnight on top of boxes as you can see in the pictures. Soon after my initial report to the health department my hoodie comes up missing. I honestly think that Joe who is constantly gossiping about staff to other staff took it being that he was the only one up front near my hoodie and for a lengthy period of time. It has been two weeks since my hoodie has disappeared and corporate has yet to check the cameras. Cover up I believe. CLICK ON LATEST TO SEE ALL OF...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI enjoy McAlister's quite a bit, so since I have frequented this particular location a few times now, I feel I can objectively and fairly review them. My order is usually correct no matter how busy (with exception to maybe missing butter for my baked potato, which is fine). I have noticed that they always seem busy no matter what time of day, and at certain times it takes me 20 minutes or more to get my to go order, which really shouldn't be an issue I would think on a late night Sunday. The most recent thing that upset me the most was today I decided to use my app to order my food so all I had to do was pick it up. My drink was for a Dr. Pepper. I am allergic to aspartame, so when I got all the way home to sit down and eat my meal, I took one sip and immediately had a reaction. I wasn't going to go all the way back to have them fix it, but I did call to get a refund, which they did for me, but took almost ten minutes to do because I was on hold for quite a while. I guess what I'm getting at is the person that I have experienced working the to-go counter is NOT paying attention to what she is doing. Some of the other cashiers are the same way. I tried to give back the extra change the cashier gave me and she told me I was wrong and so was the receipt. I hope McAlister's finds a way to make sure that their employees are more aware of what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service could have definitely been better. The girl who took our order kept making faces as if she definitely would rather be somewhere else. The manager wasn't very friendly, she was present and didn't greet anyone or even smile back when I tried to be cordial and smile at her. They gave me a bowl of "fresh" fruit that had brown pineapple chunks and mushy honeydew melon chunks in it.And when I tried to notify the girl literally pretending to sweep the lobby floor, she acted like it was no big deal they are serving bad food to people. And yes she was pretending to sweep because their lobby floor had little pieces of trash and food around every table which is disgusting. And they put some type of lettuce that had been being eaten by a bug before it was put on my sandwich. Health department needs to really pay them a visit. Seriously done with this location because they can't seem to get it together most especially for what they charge for their food. Super disappointed too because I love McAllister's. Gotta do better!! I worked for another location 2 hrs south of here and the manager of that store would lose her mind because this is way below standards for...
