ALDI — Local services in Indianapolis

The customer service is good. The workers are courteous, work hard and are excellent at answering your questions when there is enough of them on the floor. The basics, milk, eggs, bread are easy enough to find. The other stuff can be hit or miss. Some items sell out fairly quick, and with the lack of variety is difficult not to have to travel to another stuff to find it. Some off brand items are ok, others I would never use again, and their prices are way too close to the popular brands’ to justify their mediocrity. The prices vary from great to not so good. For a medium to small sized store and to do emergency shopping is decent. But I definitely have to do additional shopping elsewhere to find many items or brands that I use, which they never carry....

I LOVE ALDI! I ALWAYS try to shop here first for lots of basics, and then go to another store for the rest. Today, we were in the seasonal aisle looking at all the possible gift ideas and such. The problem lies in that there are minimal limited numbers of each item. We saw an incredible looking lantern that would make a terrific Christmas gift. While we were waiting for people to move out of the way to get a better look at the lantern, a woman came up and took ALL of them. Now, granted, there were only three, and then they were gone. We never saw anyone on the floor to ask. And by the time we got to checkout, we were spent and...

Aldi's is easy to navigate through while still observing social distancing. Aldi's always has the "usual" foods available PLUS a good share of "unusual" ethnic foods. Highly recommend. Not too many hygiene supplies, so go elsewhere for those items.. Love the "extras aisle," too. Anything from seasonal items (e.g. gardening supplies in Spring and Summer), things for the college dorm room mid July - on, to extra storage bins and solutions, to holiday items, to just about anything you can think of based on the time of year. The checkout lines can get long, but the staff tries their hardest to accommodate. Very friendly and fast at...
