The Yard Line Lounge — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I have visited thus establishment several times and have always had a good time, plus the food is amazing. But tonight was not so good. The short female bar tender with the curley hair was very disrespectful to me and my sister. We sat at the bar top so when she walked up, I asked her if she could please wipe the bar top and remove the empty beer bottles. The bar tender proceeded to clean up, but took a spray bottle and started spraying. I asked her to spay the cleaner on the towel because she sprayed me and my sister. The bar tender looked at me with a little smirk, shrugged her shoulders and never apologized. The issue is this, all I did was made a request respectfully and sat down. We did not deserve the disrespectful actions of that bar tender tonight. The owner offered to buy us drinks and that was thoughtful, but I wished he would have corrected his staffs actions. I have been to The Yard Line Lounge numerous times because I play in a pool league here from time to time. The food is bar food but having said that the bar food here is very good. The atmosphere is what you would expect in a sports bar/pool league type of environment. It is extremely noisy no matter what time of day you go unless there is nobody there at all because there is nothing to absorb any of the sound created by the patrons. The ceiling is open and there is a metal roof, the walls are all hard plaster, and the floor is concrete so absolutely none of the sound is absorbed. The jukebox is controlled by a disassociated owner. Why block 3/4 of the jukebox for your own interest??? Many patrons have different musical tastes but if the jukebox is only playing what YOU like? You're gonna lose people faster than you think. Sure, you'll have random patrons here and there, but locals will catch wind and not come back because there is literally NOTHING to play on this jukebox. The vibe is yours and only yours, you can have it.... won't be back and letting everyone else know not to waste their time.
