TURF Catering + Kitchen — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I'm a Turf regular. Just finished lunch in their cavernous dining hall (ok...not so cavernous, and not really a hall). Today I had the Spicy Burma Turkey Club. Over the years I've tried literally everything on the menu...wings, pimento cheese, and all of the sandwiches. There are a few staples that are always on the menu (Peterdick, Turkey Club, Cubano), with others mixed in (including today's Spicy Burma). Everything. Is. Fantastic. Matt, the Owner/Chef, and the rest of the crew are very nice, and are clearly proud of their excellent work...as well they should be. Matt gave us some details on how they prepare the smoked turkey, which makes an appearance in a few of Turf's sandwiches. It is culinary crack. Ok, you can't find this place. I am telling you it is next to a car repair. Omg, I can't wait to go again. I have already told friends you have to try Turf. Rachael couldn't be any nicer. The menu changes often , which helps you enjoy other things. Had the meatloaf sandwich which was like no other sandwich. When I opened the box it was this "cuite" little sandwich. This is a packed full meat sandwich. In fact had to force the last bite down. If your looking for white table clothes go some where else. If you want real food try and find Turf!!!!! 9/15/20 I ordered ribs for a company meeting. OMG what a great value plus over the top ribs. These are the best consistency rib bite. We used TURF as our wedding caterer and it was one hell of a crowd pleaser! We received endless compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was. Apparently it was so good that there was NO food left at the end of our dinner. We went with the brisket and smoked turkey and both were absolutely mouth watering. Chef Matt definitely knows what he’s doing! Rachael was an absolute treat to work with and made choosing a caterer one of the easier decisions of the entire process.
