Wendy's — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Only giving one star because I don't have an option for NEGATIVE STARS. Wish I did! First, manager CHARLES at this location SHOULD NOT BE EMPLOYED HERE. I first hand witnessed his poor behavior today.

The bacon on my sandwich was COVERED IN CRISCO, you literally could not see the bacon's color it was so covered in grease. Me and my family ALL had bacon burgers and they were ALL like this. When I took them all back to the counter, he was very flippant with me. I waited as he filled orders of four more walk in customers and three more drive thru customers while I stood there waiting. After ten minutes, TWO of the kids working up front asked him where my order was. He said he was working on it. Bull. Ten more minutes later, I got my order. During the 20 minutes that I was waiting at the counter, I heard Charles talk to his staff like total trash.

One kid asked if he could go on a break and Charles yelled at the top of his lungs, NO! And if you don't like it you can take your a** home and find another job. He was snappy and loud with every single staffer that said anything to him. All of his staff was pretty young, like teenagers and he was an older man. The kids working there were all talking about "Did you hear him" and "Omg, I can't wait to get out of here and away from him"...He was literally horrible. Obviously these kids need their jobs with this jerk, because they were putting up with A LOT.

Other customers were noticing as well, and I am sure I won't be the only complaint to corporate today. I just think about, "What IF that was my child that he was being like that to"? My sister actually told Charles before we left what a jerk he was being. SOMEONE NEEDED TO!! I will be making a formal complaint with corporate as well as leaving this review. Charles needs an attitude adjustment AND some extensive training on how to be an acceptable manager.

Aside from all that, the prices have increased and this Wendy's in particular seems to always serve room temperature food. My cheese is never melted on my burger and my fries are never hot. I don't know about you, but, I like hot fries. I think that $26 for a fast food burger place for only three people is a tad pricey. Think I will pass on Wendy's next time my kiddo wants some nuggets...plenty of OTHER burger joints near...

I've gone there for years and always liked Wendy's . My granddaughters worked at a few of the franchises but got better jobs after a year in . The one on Thompson I've had was very uncomfortable and felt like the lady was trying to degrade me and insult my intelligence and character. I really don't want to go into a place like this when that kind of atmosphere , energy and attitude is present so I'll refrain from going here to this one. One experience was when I came into order this woman was at the table eating something . I stood at the counter waiting to order 5 min. Ignored so I noticed her at the table I said it's ok I'll go to the bathroom first. She said nothing. Not even a smile or sorry. I came out and stood for another 5 min. Then she slowly walked over and did not greet me just stood with a glaring disgust in her eyes and stance. I ordered a polite basis thank you still no word. I sat to eat and she again sat to eat something else. The same woman another day I came over from the laundry to get quarters for my laundry ,order something to go. They were open even helping those in the drive thru. Again I had to say hello loudly to get noticed at the counter. She came over and snapped at me and said we don't have a drawer. I said you're open right. She very mean says man you hear me I don't have the computer set up for the drawer. I said well then anyone personally has dollars worth of quarters so I can finish laundry and I'll come back to order again mam I said we do not have any money. ???? Then why you open and serving drive thru?? Why was she that rude and mean the way she spoke. Not the point of why it's the way.! Then I was walking thru to go to planet fitness though I stopped by and got a cup of coffee. Wasn't sure if they were open yet . As I was walking she rolled up on her bike. I said are they open yet she snaps again meanly says no!! I said wow ok you know what lady your very mean and bad attitude !! So it's sane women the one that rides that big electric bike blocking the door to get in. You just lost customers due to her unprofessional gathered and judgemental shitty attitude . I'm a 66 yr. Old great grandmother worked over 50 yrs hard labors law-abiding and not a criminal, addict or disrespectful. Deserve better than to be...

SLOW, TERRIBLE FOOD AND RUDE EMPLOYEES!!!

So much for fast food. Me my wife and our daughter went here for lunch today and we were the only people in the lobby. And there was only 2 cars in the drive thru. I stood at the counter for 15 min during which time one of the employees just kept pacing in the back of the store, and another came to the counter, looked at something on the register then walked away. Never said a word to me, just walked up, checked the screen and then disappeared to the back. FINALLY an African American girl with no uniform or anything that would give the idea she worked there came to take my order. When she came to the counter to take my order there was no greeting, just a rude "what do you want?" I order our food and waited. While we were waiting another African American gentleman came in. He stood at the counter for less than a minute before the SAME girl came and took his order, she gave him a "Hi, what can I get for you today?" With a big smile on her face. He orders and in only maybe 3 minutes or so has his food. I ask her how much longer for my order and she looks at the order screen and say maybe 5 minutes, we have to make fresh nuggets. 5 minutes go by and we get our food. Our COLD, DRY food and FLAT Coka-Colas. We ordered 2 of the $5 biggie bags. Both double stack cheeseburgers and an 4pc nugget kids meal. The "fresh" nuggets she claimed to be waiting on definitely were not fresh. They were cold and hard. The fries were cold and soggy, our burgers were very sloppily thrown together, had hard buns and were even colder than the rest of the food. My wife found 3 hairs in her fries and my burger had another hair on it as well. This is the first, last, and ONLY time we will ever eat at this Wendy's. If anyone knows the corporate number (they refused to give it to us), call and report this location please. 0/10 will never...
