Best bang for your buck! Caution going before closing = Mystery fish discovery combo of whatever the house has left. (you find this out when you get home or when you open the package while driving and notice this isn't the same fish I just ate). Another late order confirmed this, I asked "do you still have perch"? he replied "1 order perch ok 10 minute we close 19 minute" he never answers your question he just takes what you order then when you pick it up he asked you, 1 Perch ff green salad, while holding back open for your viewing, (what you see is a lot of fried fish you don't know what it is until you tastes it right) ties the top of the bag, waits for cash then slides your bag towards you and you're on your way. I've gotten home and discovered dover sole substituted for my entire order, and on another occasion mixed with the perch. These are two totally different types of fish, but once you're home and try to call they're closed or they just don't answer the phone, what are you going to do you're hungry so you go ahead and eat it and there's no proof. Next time I was in I told him about it he looked off into the air "no not here, no no no no you only get you order, what would you like to order" (in his Asian accent)... Shame on you if you order within 30 minutes of closing. Next time I will be sure to photo my "Mystery Combo" ps. But even the mystery, was a good bang...

(Check my other reviews for the best NYC Pizza In Los Angeles.) Today I'm here to tell you that I've found what I finally decided was impossible.... CHINESE FAST FOOD CHICKEN WINGS!!!! That distinct taste of the city Szechuan Restaurant fried chicken wings. The problem with finding that distinct NYC Chinese food flavor is that we are accustomed to the flavors of the Szechuan region. I believe Los Angeles is populated with predominantly Cantonese Restaurants. Anyway, Angel Fish Market is a jewel that was revealed to me by a native Buffalo NYer. Thanks so much for satisfying my last NYC food craving! If you're in Inglewood and feeling "Homefood sick" please trust me and savor the flavor. It's even worth a drive if you just can't shake the crave. P. S. - the staff...
Read moreLove the fish here! A friend told me about this place, but you have to eat here to really appreciate it. I could not believe the big portions they served! It would be difficult to get this much fish anywhere else for the price! Everything looks so delicious, I had a hard time deciding what to get. However, I decided to get the Whiting fish. It was a platter so it included other things. Looking forward to my next visit.
I realize this is a market, but I do wish that they had some place where you could actually sit down and enjoy your meal. If you don't happen to live or work close by, you may have to travel a bit before you can actually sit down and...
