I am writing this review to warn potential guests about my deeply negative experience with the management at Elev8 Hotel LAX. While the location may be convenient, the hotel's dishonest practices and lack of integrity cost me nearly $200. Here is a factual timeline of what happened:
I stayed at the ELEV8 Hotel Los Angeles while attending a concert at the nearby YouTube Theater, and overall, it was a solid budget-friendly choice with a few downsides worth mentioning.
Location & Value: The hotel is within walking distance (about 15–20 minutes) of the YouTube Theater, making it incredibly convenient for events at SoFi Stadium or the surrounding area. For the price—usually under $150 a night—it offers decent value, especially compared to the inflated rates you’ll find closer to downtown or the airport.
Room & Amenities: The room was clean and spacious enough for what I needed. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was good, and there were enough outlets for charging everything. Wi-Fi was stable, and there’s a small parking lot on site, which is a big plus in L.A.
Cons: Now for the drawbacks:
