Our pad thai and combo fried rice were some of the best we've ever had. The pad thai was tasty and not dry like some places, and the fried rice was fresh and very hot. Prices were also very reasonable, to the point we have to question many of the reviews claiming they were outrageous. Pad thai chicken was $13.95 and my Coke was $2.00. These prices are right in line with practically every other Thai restaurant we've tried, even a little low, and we eat in MANY Thai restaurants because Thai is our favorite food. My advice to these others is this - read the menu before you order. BTW, the lady owner, Ya, was extremely friendly and helpful - even gave us a hug when we left. We will definitely back next time we are in town. The only downside is that you have to pay cash rather than card. We knew this policy from the comments here, so it was no problem, but it's unusual. There are signs saying this, but others might not realize it until after they ate. Ya should either take cards or put a large sign on the front door...
Read morerestaurant looks incredibly ugly, bad decorations, and a TV that displays ads only. Thai tea and Thai coffee were disgustingly sweet. this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth, it was so sweet you couldn't taste the coffee or tea AT ALL- just pure syrup. the food also wasn't great but not outrageous. the total for a tea, coffee, pad Thai, and a pineapple fried rice came out to 44 dollars. 8 dollars for each drink! we complained about the drinks to the water when she asked how everything was, and her reply was, "back there, (motioning to kitchen) we followed the recipe." like okay? it's still disgusting. we tried to pay and she revealed it was cash only. in 2024 cash only is a red flag. all we had on us was our phones, and after 15 minutes of arguing, we zelled. overall, horrible horrible experience. please don't go here. we passed a lot of better looking places on our way...
Read moreThey were sooooo stinking rude today. No bueno. And, not to mention, the fact that they were rushing me and all I did was ask for a bag for my to go order so that the food could be more secure. She was so tight about giving me an extra bag to hold my food in that she complained the whole time (in her language) So I said some things in my slanguage. It was crazy cuz then she had the audacity to ask me why I didn't have a bag. Which is absolutely absurd, right? And can you believe it got worse when I told them that I was going to write a review? Come on now. And after all of that rushing and rudeness they got the order wrong. Yo bad! Needless to say, I won't be back. That's for sure. I'd rather pay and give my money to people who would treat me like they're getting my money. With some decency and respect. And I'd advise anyone else to...
