The MEETING SPOT — Restaurant in Inglewood

We recently celebrated my mom's birthday at The Meeting Spot, and it was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic and made her day truly special.

A huge thank you goes out to the owner, Sarah, for her incredible kindness and going above and beyond. From the initial booking to the day of the event, Sarah was incredibly helpful with all the logistics, making the planning process smooth and stress-free.

We had a slight mishap with our birthday cake, and Sarah's thoughtfulness in getting a new one for my mom was so incredibly appreciated. It was such a generous gesture and truly made the celebration even more meaningful.

We also have to give a massive shout-out to Dorrell! His energy was absolutely magnetic and contagious. He was fantastic at looking after our large party, ensuring everyone was well taken care of, and his enthusiasm made the whole evening even more fun. He was attentive, efficient, and a real asset to The Meeting Spot.

The atmosphere at The Meeting Spot was great, and the service we received from both Sarah and Dorrell was exceptional. We left feeling so happy and grateful for such a memorable celebration.

We highly recommend The Meeting Spot for any gathering, big or small. You're guaranteed excellent service and a warm, welcoming environment. Thank you, Sarah and Dorrell, for making my mom's birthday so special! We can't wait to...

Came here before a concert, 2 top. Ordered beer, cocktail, napa salad and nachos. Service was good! Beer, cocktail, nachos: also good.

But there was a metal twist tie in the salad. Got it on like the 3rd bite.

I informed the waitress who was appropriately horrified and apologetic. She offered to replace and I declined.

Asked for the check and only the salad was comped. (Apologies also came from someone who appeared to be in charge).

I paid the bill and even left a tip, not caring to fight about it. But I feel more should have been comped besides the salad that I never even got.

Stuff happens, I'm more concerned with how you handle it. On this metric, Meeting Spot failed.

Edit: Business reply below falsely insinuates that I agreed to or accepted a resolution and that I somehow changed my mind. I did no such thing - I just rushed out to make a concert, saying, "whatever, stuff happens". I found the resolution unsatisfying...

We stopped here for a light and early dinner before seeing a show at the YouTube theater. It was a really easy walk over from the venue parking lots, and given the location we were kind of expecting it to be an extension of the typical over-priced under-whelming offerings; but that was far from the case. We were both really pleased with our food selections, and the price was well worth the portions and quality. I had a mocktail, he had a cocktail and both were very tasty. Plus, the atmosphere was very pleasant; clean and well-kept. And most of all, the service was impeccable. Not only was our server great (friendly, prompt, and proactive - bringing extra napkins when we were getting a bit messy, offering me a blanket when the weather got unexpectedly chilly, etc) but you could tell everyone was working well as a team, with other folks checking on us too, and all in all just providing a great...
