I have been buying a venti coffee at Starbucks everyday day for over 8 years and all the good will earned by the many baristas and stores I have visited in that time has been completely ruined in the span of 8 days since Starbucks forgot there ways and decided to blame the customers for all there problems and this store on the corner of Prairie & Century Blvd is a perfect example of the DOWNFALL of ALL STANDARDS that ONCE made Starbucks GREAT.
Remember when Starbucks used to be clean? I do but it’s not anymore and hasn’t been in a long time
The bathrooms here look like they haven’t been cleaned properly in years.
Remember when Baristas were polite … I remember but those days are long gone.
Remember when it was a smoke free environment… I do but those days are gone as well as evidenced by parking lots full of cigarettes. 5 years ago you’d never see a cigarette butt.
Remember when you could sit inside or outside… not anymore, for most Starbucks now have eliminated outside seating and many have also eliminated plugs.
Remember when it was a good environment to meet people … well those days are long gone because Starbucks has forgotten who the PEOPLE are and have decided to declare war on the people who have supported them day in and day out.
Starbucks has now become a place where FILTHY BATHROOMS, lobby’s, and patios are the NORM to go along with EVER INCREASING PRICES with an EXTRA HELPING of bad attitudes from baristas who are no longer happy to be working here and are WORKING themselves out of a job by ALIENATING there entire customer Base
But luckily there’s a SILVER LINING to this story because unlike Starbucks, Panera Bread has taken over Starbucks place as the THIRD HOME and Panera Earns That First sip Feeling by having clean stores that are welcoming to all and on top of that they have REALLY GOOD FOOD and they put coffee out for you to refill your cup whenever YOUR HEART DESIRES + they have microwaves, SUPER COMFY SEATING & Much larger lobbies that more often than not have Fire places and ALWAYS HAVE PLUGS
and you know what else Panera never does … they don’t decide at 3:30 in the afternoon to shut the store down and have a staff meeting but that’s Starbucks favorite thing to do now is just put a note on the door and tell everyone to get out without any warning or notice.
And on top of that the hours of operation are correct on Google maps unlike Starbucks who now thinks it’s a good idea to say there open when in reality it’s only open for drive thru and the Lobby opens later and moreover they don’t answer the phones but I digress
I could go on and on at the downfall of Starbucks but no one is listening at the corporate level anymore since Howard Shultz left and the new business model is to blame the customers for YOUR FAILURES so instead I will PRESS On, PRESS Harder, PRESS NOW!!!

She might be the lead or manager since she’s always the one that tells me the things when they are having a problem with my drinks. The first time I ordered a Travelers box through the app. I went to get it 20 mins after I ordered it. I went in and waited for over 25 min. That was overall a total of 45 min. She said next time call it in because we have another traveler box after you. What the?????i ordered through app shouldn’t it be enough? But okay it’s a big order maybe I can call it in next time. The next time I go back In the morning . I ordered a grande frap through the app. I should be okay right? I always order it & I get there after 10 mins. It’s always there ready for me when it’s other staffs or location. Well I get there and my drink isn’t ready. They are making drinks so I assume one might be mine. I’m waiting on the Mobil side and there’s no drink. After about 7 min that same lady from the other day says with attitude are you waiting on a Mobil order because it’s not here!! I proceeded to show here I did order. Then she checks and it was there!!! They didn’t see it . So why not apologize & say my bad we didn’t see it. Nope she puts blame on me again and says you should have .... I should have what . I always order through app and my drinks are always ready except when you’re there? Read moreVisited this establishment today and honestly they are usually very very welcoming and kind. Today I decide I want to order Starbucks for my family and I which is something I have been Doing daily. I go through their drive thru and order 4 white chocolate mochas got and ask for them to be blonde. At first person taking my order said they didn’t have enough for all four and I said ok as long as one is blonde that’s fine. Well another girl by the name of Mila got on the speaker in a very very very rude manner and said we said we don’t have none we said. To keep a long story short I let her know there was no need to be so rude and she said oh well sorry we dont have any. I said ok May I have your name she gave it to me and I said ok I’ll be contacting corporate. So not only will I be contacting corporate, because I as well work in a customer service industry as a manager and that is no way to speak to a customer who goes everyday. I decided not to complain to the manager because is the manager on duty felt it was ok for her to speak to me in that manner they both either need to get retrained or fired. Most definitely contacting the district manager Ryan about this as well. I am a manager at WingStop and I know that if I serviced with that type of attitude my district manager and general manager will retrain.
