I used to come this place a lot when my father was alive and gave me nostalgia whenever I come to visit. The place has definitely gotten better since when I was a kid. The reconstruction def made more space for more guests to fit in even during rush hours. The staff is def hard at work so I can't put them down because they are always busy with long lines. With that being said, I just wish that upper management would hire more people due to the fact that with more staff they can cover more areas and there won't be any issues with the guests complaining. From what I see other reviews I believe it's due to understaffing that makes the employees over stressed which then leads to arguments with the customers.
In my opinion if yoshinoya hired more people and coordinated their staff to rush hours there would be less issues to deal with since the location of the restaurant is near the stadiums.
Other than that, the place is def worth checking out and the quality of the food is worth it. Guests should make time to eat at the place in case it's busy due the high demand because you can't rush good food. Finally I will always cherish yoshinoya as it's always a nostalgic place to eat. Keep up the great work, stay...
Read moreCame here late night because they stayed open until 2am. upon arrival there is a sign stating that they are only serving kids meals. There is no ways an establishment that is this big can only have portion sizes for kids meals and if so to accommodate your customers you would serve them in whatever bowl that you have available. This is an obvious sign of laziness whoever was working tonight just did not want to cook and decided to deter customers with this sign. I have been here numerous times and this has never been an issue. Instead of saying that you only have kids meals just close the business down for the night... Not only did I waste my gas and my time coming here but The lack of customer service Does not give me a reason to come back. I even asked the employee if they could give me the same portion for my large meal just put it in the kids bowls.. However I was told that they could not do that because it would be too many bowls! What kind of business is this?!?! For a large chain they should be ashamed of hiring people who do not want to do their job. For the manager or owner who sees this look at the picture that was posted in your establishment. Horrible service and a...
Read moreCashier is careless in taking the order (I hope she didn’t do it intentionally) as she got both my friend’s and my order wrong. My friend asked for “make it a meal” and ordered the grilled chicken but the cashier took her order at the a la carte price and ordered grilled ribeye (I don’t know how she can mistaken chicken to ribeye), my friend ended up paying $17 for what supposed to be $14. My friend informed the staff to change back to the chicken but the staff didn’t bother to refund the addition $2. For my order I mentioned two to three times it’s a MEAL and the cashier made it right this time, but not sure where the large soda +$0.5 from as I only said regular Pepsi. I know we should talk to the cashier on the spot but honestly not bother given their “welcomeness” , just be careful when you place the order with them. Not sure if it matters if you are local or tourists. Food is mediocre, but I craved Yoshinoya since we don’t have...
