Quality has hit near bottom. I've been coming here since it first opened years ago when it was a fad and lines went out the door. However in the last few months, the quality has reached near zero. Perhaps they changed owners? ***The place is dirty, they don't clean the tables, the trash can is nasty. It's gross. The floor is dirty. I can totally ignore that; my standards are low but there are other problems. ***Next the pizzas are not uniformly made as before. You end up with pizzas that are SMALLER than normal or not even round. Watch the pizzas in line, everyone is getting different sizes. It's completely all over the place. We had to reorder a pizza because it's burnt and the 2nd one was way bigger. (no standards). ***Then they are being strange about toppings. They only put a little and you have to ask for MORE each time vs. before when it was pretty standard/ok. I think they are told to not put as much now to save money. They don't even do a good job of putting on the toppings. Just throw it up on the air, land wherever. hah. ***THEN they have burned it 3x in a row across weeks of time March/APRIL. They even burned my BIRTHDAY PIZZA. Even when you ask them to not burn it, they burn it still. So they will remake it, but then there goes another 20 mins waiting. Somehow they have forgotten how to not burn the pizza. One I got recently tasted like burnt toast. Then 3 more visits, same thing. ***After you get done with 1/2 of the line, the last portion of the line before the cash register backs up and they have NO PLAN on advancing the line to get the last toppings on and then to get you checked out and into the oven, it's horrible. One day it was 20 mins to get the pizza in the oven from the start of the dough. Next time I timed it and it was 20 mins to get your pizza from when you started to make your pizza. You're all just standing in line with your pizzas ready to go in the oven but they won't put them in. Early when the place first opened they would just put them in while done but now they make you go to the cash register first (wasting a ton of time). Getting through the line and getting your pizza has expanded to a 1 hour to 1 and 1/2 hour process. 20-30 waiting to get to order, 10-20 in line waiting to pay (or 10-20 waiting for the pizza to be burnt). We ate an entire meal while 2 people were waiting for their pizza to be delievered after the cash register. The insane wait times was totally worth it previously because the pizza was so good but now the time is longer AND the pizza is burnt/horrible. We looked around at other people's pizzas and 1/2 of them are fine, 1/2 are burnt. (BLACK BOTTOMS/SIDES). Now it's no longer worth the time, money (increased prices) and the quality of the pizza (burnt, not even round). So this went from hey this is our fav place to go to not even worth the drive unless there is a deal (buy one get one free). You might as well buy a $10 Papa Johns pizza.

I visited this establishment for the first time recently and had an overall decent experience, though there were a few areas for improvement. When I arrived, I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged, which felt a bit impersonal. You basically wait in line until they call you up with a quick “next,” which was a bit underwhelming in terms of customer service. The cleanliness could also use some attention. There was a lot of water or soda on the floor near the machine, and the tables and surrounding area had visible trash and crumbs. It didn’t seem like much effort was made to keep the space tidy. When it came to the pizza, I ordered the combo with sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers, and olives. The toppings were a little light—especially the bell peppers, which were chopped very small—and I found the pizza to be lacking in both sauce and cheese. However, the meats were tasty, and overall, the pizza had good flavor. One positive note is that they offer a gluten-free crust, which is a great option for people with dietary restrictions, though it does come with a $4+ upcharge. The crust was crunchy and flavorful, though I’m not sure if it’s fully celiac-safe. While the price didn’t seem to fully match the quality of the food, it’s still a good option for a quick, no-frills pizza, especially if you’re looking for something fast and solo. I would definitely consider coming back for the gluten-free crust, but I hope they can improve the overall experience in terms of service and cleanliness.

Pieology is legit. It's too legit to quit! It's okay readers if you don't know what that means. Just ask your parents. Oh the memories. I'm old :/.

Do you ever have a problem deciding what kind of pizza toppings to get? Do your family members say "I like anything" but they really don't? Well it's time to get an individual pizza the way you want it and nobody can stop you!

LOCATION: This is an odd location for a restaurant, around the corner from Wahoo Fish Taco's. It's such a long walk from the main entrance near the theater area. The Food Court is closed, so for you cheapies out there this is a great option.

PRICE: The Price is Right! Sure, you can get a whole pizza at Pizza Hut or Little Ceaser's for the same price, but can you have it your way and is it cooked in from of you? Yes, this matters! Search Youtube for pissed off Pizza Hut Employee and see how your pizza is made at your local chain pizzaria. Gross.

SEATING: Limited but if you are willing to wait a table usually opens up. The food is usually served in a timely manner. Outdoor seating is shaded except for the tables outside of the covered patio. I know it doesn't get too hot in Irvine, but I just don't want to feel like a Pizza before eating one.

QUALITY: It's okay. Not CPK or a typical pizza joint. I feel like the chefs speed up the cooking process to feed many people quickly. Cooking and consistancy can vary. My pizza turned out pretty good when every I go, but I did see a lady next to us with a burnt crush and raw center, but I'm sure that happens when you overload your pizza with too many items. My first visit the server put on a redicious amount of oil. I thought he was trying to make a Tostada or a large potato chip. Oil is not a sauce!! Oil is not your friend. Every pizza turns out greasy so you may want to order a drink. My second visit I asked for light oil with extra sauce. This was a lot better. Pieology is good, but I would still take Round Table over it any day of the week.

The quality of your pizza is in your hands. Depending what topping you choice can make or break the flavor. So choose wisely. If you pretend that this is an all you can eat buffet. Go ahead load on the toppings if that's your thing, but don't blame me if your Out is not as fun as your In. I suggest you stick to one type of cheese mozarella. If you want any of the other cheese go for it, but to me cheese is just mold. It's true google it! Always get extra sauce and light oil. I would stick to 2 or 3 meats max and load on about 3 veggies and always add garlic and basil. You may not get kiss at the end of your date, but it will be worth it. Besides you will have protection from twinkle twinkle sparkle Twilight glider-faced vampires. Add extra garlic and onions if you need.

I recommend Pieology! However, if you like quality pizza or if you are gonna tell me Chicago style Deep Dish is the only real pizza, you will be disappointed. If you enjoy cheap food without tip, this is a great place for those on a budget. Save your money for movie tickets, shopping, and drinking (Kids I'm talking...

Wow, I have never seen such terrible customer service and such a disorganized and unsanitary restaurant. I went yesterday to pick up an order, which was ordered 20 minutes before I went to the store, and it still was not ready. I had to wait for another 40 minutes just for them to start making the pizza. While I was there, the line kept getting longer and longer because the customers were being helped very slowly, and the younger guy who was dealing with the oven was just taking out the pizzas and putting them in random boxes and the other older guy who was giving them to the customers and helping at the register was super angry and unprofessional. He kept giving people a random box of pizza, and at least 10 customers came back and complained that their pizza was wrong and that they actually had ordered more or less than however many he gave them. When I was waiting for my order, he told me to take a random box from the pick up shelf, and I told him that I was not going to do that. Also, some people were trying to get straws or napkins or plates and stuff, and he kept telling them that they were out. Finally, when someone asked for their pizza to be clean cut, because of their very strict diet, he proceeded with using a non-clean cutter to cut their pizza, resulting in the customers being extremely upset. After their reaction to what he did, he lied, but the customers said they saw what he did, so he flipped his hat off and also threw the rolling cutting item at the counter, which is obvious sharp because it is used to cut, and yelled “I quit.” However, he came back about 10 minutes later, while I was still waiting for my pizza, and I had to tell him that my pizza was still not ready. It was super super chaotic, unorganized, and it seemed very unsanitary. I get if he was having a bad day, but work, especially a restaurant where you have to be very careful because people are going to be eating the food that you are preparing, is not a place you can carry your problems to. He also kept yelling out problems with Management, like the fact that Management never takes care of the items they need, such as straws and plates, and everybody was just super upset in the store. However, when the woman working the pizza topping counter was asked for the manager, the angry man chucking cutting items around was the one who was said to be the manager. I’m definitely not going back to this location until some things are fixed. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Does not belong at Irvine Spectrum!

Oh, also, he was blaming the customers for getting the wrong order, because everybody was ordering veggie pizzas and he was getting confused( LOL!!). I feel like the store has to find some way to categorize the pizzas. I worked at a restaurant for years, and we were extremely busy, and I never ever had any problem like this. I am...
