El Ranchero Meat Market — Restaurant in Irving

After visiting this taco place so many times and always being satisfied with the tacos me and my husband recently had a really bad experience. My husband found a ball of hair in his tacos and it was so disgusting I immediately told him to call so that he can get his order replaced. I honestly was so disgusted I didn’t even want to finish my own tacos. He called and was told to take the tacos back to them and so he can speak to the manager in charged. After we got there I got off with my husband and we showed the lady the box with the tacos and the hair ball we found. She immediately tried to insinuate that we put the hair ball in there. She also went on to say that the place was clean and the guys who made the tacos didn’t see anything. This got me really Angry. First of all we had not eat all day we were starving and decided to pick up tacos from here. As soon as we ordered them we got home and started eating. Putting hair balls in my tacos is not really how I would like to spend my afternoon. I don’t have time for bs like this. She also said that the hair would have been “wet” if we truly did find it there. I this point I was extremely angry and just wanted to know if she was going to replace my order or not. I always come here for tacos . Some of them already know who I am when I walk in, I always leave a good tip and tip the elote lady as well. I love their tacos, but today I ordered two plates of tacos , I only brought $20 cause that’s how much it usually is . And so I didn’t bring enough and had to take a plate off, and this one lady who was the cashier today just started yelling saying I didn’t have enough money , just being unprofessional and embarrassing. Like what did you gain from yelling that out loud ? Like I always spend my money here . Don’t get me wrong I love coming here . I just don’t like that women in the front . Meat market and restaurant all in one. 15 people having lunch at 2 p.m. in their lobby. It's pretty much a meat mkt, convenience store, and diner all in one.

The meat market was great and had very competitive prices. I bout about 6lbs of meat for the weekend.

There was only one cashier, and the line was 8 deep. It was exacerbated as she allowed the diners to skip to the front to pay for their food. I would assume that they would order, then pay, then eat. Whatever works for them, but the wait in line...
