From the moment you step into Mesa Mezcal, located in the luxurious Westin hotel in Las Colinas, Texas, you are transported into a world of authentic Mexican cuisine and culture. This restaurant is a true gem, offering an unforgettable dining experience that is as vibrant and rich as the country it represents. The ambiance at Mesa Mezcal is nothing short of spectacular. The decor is a tasteful blend of traditional Mexican elements and contemporary design, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious, yet intimate, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The menu at Mesa Mezcal is a culinary journey through Mexico. Each dish is a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that are both bold and nuanced. The chefs have done an exceptional job of balancing traditional Mexican recipes with innovative culinary techniques. The result is a menu that is familiar yet exciting, with dishes that cater to a wide range of palates. The standout for me was the Mezcal Marinated Steak, a dish that was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The accompanying sides were equally impressive, complementing the steak beautifully. The Guacamole prepared tableside was a delightful spectacle and tasted as good as it looked. The Tacos Al Pastor, with their succulent pork and tangy pineapple, were a revelation. The bar at Mesa Mezcal deserves a special mention. The selection of Mezcals and Tequilas is extensive, and the cocktails are expertly crafted. The signature Mezcal Margarita is a must-try, with its smoky undertones and refreshing citrus notes. The service at Mesa Mezcal is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience. They are more than happy to guide you through the menu and make recommendations based on your preferences. Mesa Mezcal is a shining star in the Westin hotel's culinary offerings. It is a place where the food, ambiance, and service come together to create a dining experience that is truly memorable. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Las Colinas, Texas, a meal at Mesa Mezcal is an absolute must.

I went on Mother's Day, and beyond an extremely rowdy table, this place was deader than a morgue. That should have been my first clue. The menu was heavily shaved down from what was shown on the website, I couldn't tell if this was in regards to the holiday or what, but the remaining fare was a smattering of the ol' boring standard offered anywhere. Chips and salsa are not only not complementary, they're $6. Whatever water we were given was all that we got for the night. Tiny cups. Service was nonexistent, check-back was nonexistent, the table in the corner boomed and shrieked, and the bartender who started my order left without ever saying anything. I was seated right next to the bar, with my kid, and the remaining bartender was eventually coaxed away from his attention to the TV with enough meaningful glances to mumble at me asking what I needed. Anything and everything would have been nice, but this isn't something that you say to someone who clearly has better things to do. Like wordlessly haunt the bar. The salsa was probably the best that I've had in a while, the actual restaurant setup/decor is cute, but the remaining menu is hopeless, the staff lifeless, the mixed drink unimpressive, and the food is better left to food trucks, where they don't charge you 2 vital organs to feel like a garage rubber plant that they can't wait to pretend never happened.

The manager from this restaurant should be fired along with servers... We went last night to eat, and we're seated at the patio. No one came to us and acknowledged us. No one offered us any type of service or assistance. We had to walk from the patio to order our drinks and to get the menu. After we returned to the bar and requested a server, we placed our orders. The server came saying one of the orders was no longer part of the menu.. We changed that particular item; our food was served except the last one we modified. 20 minutes passed until we had to complain and asked for that order. They never brought us water or utensils. We asked to speak to the manager who had the audacity to say the area we were; it is for self-service only. We saw the other tables' place orders and be served accordingly. The food is okay, and the service is below expectations. Go to another place to spend your money. They turned off the lights and the music right when we were still eating, and others were still enjoying their drinks.

Please go to this veryyy nice looking restaurant. It's apart of the hotel the decor and atmosphere is inviting.. My best friend and I went here for our monthly meet up. I chose this place for thos month and man oh man I'm glad I did.. The hostess was very nice. Our waitress Nicole is like no other 🔥 So accomandating and attentive to our table and ALL the others she had.. She was easy to talk to in ref to menu items. She made sure we were knowledgeable about the happy hour items etc and gave recommendations. She made sure that we were happy with our experience there on our girls night and it was. 💓 The drinks were strong and we loved it!! We had pear and mango margaritas. Yum❗❗ My nachos were delicious. My friend had the tacos and it was a lot of food.. When I tell you I'm glad we decided to go here. We will be back in a flash. Oh and Nicole the waitress works on the weekend fri-Sun and maybe 1 day during the week.. This is a review that I couldn't wait to write. This place was amazing and Nicole was such a great representative for this restaurant. Thanks again Nicole...
