First, let me begin by stating this was the first customer experience I had at this particular restaurant, which reinforced my decision on questioning my return for any to go items in the future, and I am advising should you choose to order to go you may want to head over to the Yard House in Addison! Much better management problem resolution from the front to the back with sincerity and due diligence! I order a salad and soup online and noted in the special instructions any additional items as well as requested cutlery for my dinnerware. My order was to be ready at 10:10 pm and I arrived shortly thereafter around 10:19pm. I approach the young women at the front order pick up and she handed me my food, no receipt and as I stand to the side to review my order I notice I didn’t have all the items I requested on my online order. I then tell her the items that are missing and she nonchalantly goes back to retrieve my missing maple Dijon as she proceeds to tell me they already added it to the salad. This is not true as the salad is bone dry. Once she returns I ask for a manager because the soup appeared to be a cup when I ordered a bowl. The manager came and I discussed my concern with the quantity wanting to ensure I in fact received the proper selection and he came back with a demonstration of the difference in ounces. This was my first time ordering online after dining in the previous night and starting with a cup , my concern was the same cup I received appeared to be the same size that was placed in my bag even though I choose to upsize and order a bowl. I then advised I didn’t get any cutlery either? And so he look at the greeter goes in and grabs the plastic ware and adds them to my bag. I then must ask to obtain my receipt. The whole experience was off putting and for me to have to continue to go back and forth about items that were clearly denoted and marked when requesting pick up is crazy to me! Every order outgoing should be properly assessed and confirmed of the customers request before it is ready to go out the door. I shouldn’t have to check list for the simple request I put in. It just takes a little extra time , consistency and forethought as every order that goes out is a reflection of the competency of the brand being represented. ...

My family and I dined in on Wednesday, August 16 around 7 pm. My husband and I usually go out there for date night and we've always been treated so well and the food is delicious. We love this place so much that we decide to invite my mom this time, she is an older woman in her 50s whose first language is Portuguese. We arrive and were seated right away. Our server, Lucy(a short, tan skin, oriental-looking woman) was our host. To start, Lucy didn't greet us with a smile and an upbeat personality like we usually get. Lucy asked what we wanted to drink and my husband and I ordered our drinks right away, but my mom didn't have a chance to look at the drink menu and when Lucy came over my mom asked her where to find the "teas", Lucy didn't respond until I asked her to help my mom out directly and Lucy just looked at her, my mom took about 2 minutes to decide on what she wanted while asking about different drinks, since she's never been there before, but got water instead since Lucy seemed as she was rushing. Lucy seemed IRRITATED, she was running out of patience. Lucy came back with our drinks and rushed us to order our food. At this point I was bothered about how she had treated my mom, so we ordered our food, which was tasty as always. I wanted to order a different drink and more food, but since she already seemed irritated by us, we decided to leave with half of our food in to-go containers and yes, she was bothered when we asked for them and the check. I almost asked to speak to a manager, but it was packed. I don't understand what happened or what we did to her to deserve such cold and bitter treatment.
