I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Reservoir in Las Colinas, TX, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.
The ambiance of the restaurant is simply stunning. The modern yet cozy decor creates a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The dim lighting and comfortable seating make it an ideal place for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends.
Now let's talk about the food. The menu at The Reservoir is a true culinary delight. With a wide range of options, there is something to satisfy every palate. From the perfectly cooked steaks to the fresh seafood dishes, each plate is a work of art. The attention to detail in the presentation is truly impressive.
I had the pleasure of trying their signature dish, the Reservoir Filet, and it was absolutely divine. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the accompanying sides were equally delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and each bite was a delight to the taste buds.
The service at The Reservoir is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels well taken care of. From recommending the perfect wine pairing to accommodating dietary restrictions, they truly excel in providing exceptional service.
To top it all off, the dessert menu at The Reservoir is a dream come true for any sweet tooth. The decadent chocolate lava cake and the creamy crème brûlée were the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal.
Overall, my experience at The Reservoir was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of exquisite food, beautiful ambiance, and outstanding service makes it a must-visit restaurant in Las Colinas, TX. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a memorable night out with friends, The Reservoir is the perfect choice. I can't wait to go back and try more of their...
Read moreY’all, let me tell you about KORINA.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this girl? She earned it.
Me and my three girlfriends came in after one hell of a day—like, the kind of day where you just want to disappear into a drink and not be bothered. But the second we sat down, we noticed this ray of sunshine just working that room with a kind of charm and efficiency that felt like watching a real-life rom-com unfold.
Her name? Korina.
She was bubbly, sweet, attentive—but not in a forced way. In a “this is just who I am, darlin’” kinda way. You could tell she was on top of her game—timely, organized, never flustered, and fast. Like, smooth fast. The way she took care of all her tables, and still found the time to smile, check in on us, make sure our drinks were just right, and even crack a few jokes it felt like we were sitting with an old friend. An old friend who somehow runs the floor better than most managers I’ve seen.
And let me just say !!!!! she made me smile. And I do not smile easy when I’m in a mood. But her warmth cut right through it. It wasn’t fake, it wasn’t overdone …it was just… real. Honest-to-God Texan hospitality mixed with pure heart.
By the end of the dindin, mind you we were all saying how impressed we were with how she hustled but with grace. Like, she never missed a beat, and we saw it. We felt it.
Korina, you’re one of a kind. The kind of person that makes people feel good without even trying. Thank you for turning our rough day into something soft, light, and full of laughs. You reminded us that good energy is contagious, and service……real service……is an art.
We’ll be back just for you, girl.
Bless your hustle....
Read moreMy first time being there because my wife and her coworkers had mentioned they had been to this place before. We even waited outside until 5pm when the doors open. There was 2 bartenders/waitresses serving us drinks, I did not get their names one tall one the other shorter. This was Friday Dec 21st at 5pm it started off good but then just out of nowhere the shorter bartender just started giving me a attitude for no apparent reason. She even charged me the full amount for my paleta shot @$12 which reminder this was during happy hour. I asked her for water she said "no" I thought she was playing but I never got the water from her. I asked the other bartender and she gave me the water. I told the taller bartender to close my tab and she gave me the receipt and I signed it left a tip. Then a few minutes later the shorter bartender comes back with a receipt and says "this is for the paleta shot I made you" she charged me full price. No biggie tho. I signed it and left no tip because remember I had already left a tip. So she says "you have to tip us" and she rips the receipt and tells me "you do better". That's when I knew it was time to go because I can only take so much before I start going off which I was right at my tipping point. Horrible experience. The reason I don't leave 1 star is because like I mentioned the taller bartender was nice. My wife's coworkers we're even like "what did you do to her" I responded "I...
