Walked went up to the counter and literally stood there for over 5mins. Two employees walked by and said nothing. Started looking around and finally saw some other stations for the “new experience of Panera!” Went over there and realized this is self checkout.
My daughter wanted the sandwich and Mac & cheese and a green tea. No combos but it all these hints at what a deal I would get it I was a subscriber. I get to the pay page and it is $23! And says I could save $4 if I was a subscriber. Ok - since I am paying almost one quarter of a $100 on a sandwich and mac- I took the bait.
I thought a subscriber was like give me all your info and we will make you a rewards member - oh no! This was a subscription for $15 bucks a month for unlimited free drinks.
But it did not even do that! It took about $2 off and they already have my info. Tried to undo and would not let me. Damn I was not digging on the self check out! But I saved $1.94! Oh again with the oh no SOMEHOW my taxes came to $1.94.
Sorry not sorry this is long - after i paid it was pretty quick to get the food and my daughter liked it (only reason it is 3 stars). Go to walk out and pass the drink station, I realize I didn’t get her green tea. So I went back try to get somebody’s attention and took a minute and a very frustrated, looking young girl came up to me. I was asked what?
I said I’m sorry but what about my real drink and she kind of sighed at me and then reached over and grabbed me a plastic cup set it down and walked off. The only drink station you can see is hot tea & coffee when you walk in. So I made her a hot green tea. I looked around for ice there’s gotta be ice. They advertise an iced green tea. Where is it? It takes me a minute then I see thirsty people walking to the very back of the restaurant around another corner and surprise surprise there’s a drink station, cokes & ice. Already made green tea hot. I dump it and get the chilled one that takes again forever because the spring is busted and does not Flow out right.
Got out of there feeling stupid until at the door there are two women not strong enough to get the door to open. So I toss my hips nail the pose and hold the door for the ladies.
I like people to greet us coming and going specially for $25...
Read moreI want to start by saying that I love the Sip Club. I've visited this location several times, and the customer service has always been good. However, during my most recent visit, I encountered Eddie, the general manager, at the front counter. Unfortunately, he seemed to lack personality and emotion.
Today, I decided to dine in and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. I handed Eddie a $20 bill, and he took a pen to check if it was counterfeit. Thankfully, my bill passed the pen test!
However, when my sandwich arrived, it wasn't toasted at all. I also wanted to take advantage of the free pastry offer I saw in my app. I went back to the counter and asked Eddie if I could redeem the free pastry. He told me he didn't see the offer when he took my order. I know about the free pastry because previous visits informed me of the offer.
To prove my point, I showed Eddie the offer in my app, but he insisted it wasn't available when he placed my order. I knew this wasn't true, as I had been informed about the offer before I ordered. When I asked what he suggested I get instead, he recommended an almond pastry, which turned out to be very dry—just like Eddie's demeanor at the counter.
It seems that being a general manager doesn't necessarily require good customer service skills. Like Eddie's demeanor at the counter.

It seems that being a general manager doesn't necessarily require good customer service skills. Eddie if I come into the store please walk away and let those with a beautiful smile and a great personality serve me. Energy is transferable and I don't want that negative energy near me and any food...
Read moreI recently visited Panera Bread for lunch and was very impressed with their Value Duets. For just $6.99, you get a cup of soup, half sandwich, and a side. This is a great deal, especially considering that most other places charge at least $10 for a similar meal.
I ordered the Wild Rice chicken soup, the nappa almond chicken sandwich, and french baguette. The soup was delicious and the sandwich was very filling. The bread was also fresh and flavorful. I was very happy with the overall quality of the food.
In addition to the Value Duets, Panera Bread also has a wide variety of other menu items to choose from. They have salads, sandwiches, soups, pizzas, bakery items, and more. There is something for everyone at Panera Bread.
The service at Panera Bread was also excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my food was ready quickly. I would definitely recommend Panera Bread to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable lunch option.
Here are some pros and cons of Panera Bread:
