Totally Tea — Restaurant in Irving

The menu board has the prices listed. I ordered a regular espresso but the girl told me espresso only comes in large and it's a dollar more. So from $4.99 to $5.99. I said that's ok. As I put in my card and got to take my card out I almost see a charge of $10. I asked her if she just charged me $10. She said no so I asked for the receipt. She says the machine is broken. I leave and check my bank account to find out she charged me $9.75... I went back into the store and asked why did she charge me this much when the prices are listed on the board on the wall. I didn't get any extras in my drink. She says that it's broken and those aren't the right prices. I asked why would you not mention that when I asked if you had just charged me almost $10 for my drink. She had no answers and couldn't give her managers name or number to talk about this. I was upset but didn't let it ruin my movie night. Just took a picture of her with the prices listed in the background and will talk to mall management about this.🧐 Be careful with this place. I decided to give this place a try because I love boba drinks. However, I was disappointed by the fraudulent pricing. I ordered the Wowwee Lemonade and the Classic, both of which included two boba toppings. When I pointed out that I had already paid for the toppings, the lady insisted that she had to ring it up that way according to her manager. Since the manager wasn’t there, I asked her to call her. After speaking with the manager, she offered me a refund of two dollars. At this point, I declined the entire transaction and received my money back. First off. I should have known that mall boba would be absolutely trash… how they have a permit to sell there food here is beyond me. They have a picnic cooler on top of the counter top that they keeps bags of ice in is completely un sanitary. The drinks have no flavors what so ever.. wait that’s a lie taste like nasty chemical powder that leaves a nasty film in the roof of your mouth. 🤐 if I could give this place a 0 star I sure would.
