ZENse — Restaurant in Irving

I am giving this restaurant 1 star because the customer experience for me and my coworker was simply unacceptable. We went for lunch on a Friday after 1pm. There was a table in the middle with maybe 10 or 12 people and a couple of other people sitting around. We figured that we would be in and out in a reasonable amount of time. WRONG...After about 20 minutes of waiting after our order we began asking when our food would be out. We also noticed that some of the people at the larger table were still waiting for their meals to come out. About half those people had food and half didn't. The waitress continued to bring out other people's appetizers and we and the other people at the larger table continued to wait. My red curry finally came out at about 40 minutes of waiting and the waitress said that my coworker's pad thai was right behind it. Well...that wasn't true. When my coworker told the waitress to forget about the order at this point, the waitress became angry about it and yelled something to the grandmothers who were in the kitchen cooking. She yelled back across the room to my coworker that it's already cooked and about to come out. My coworker was really angry and said no, I no longer want it. The waitress brought the check over and offered no apologies but had much attitude. Apparently there were only two cooks in the kitchen. First let me start by saying I live in Fort Worth, and I work off of MacArthur I pass Thai Zense every day on my way to work, and on my way home! I decided about a year ago to give it a try! It was a great decision on my part!!! Thai Zense is by far best Thai food I have ever had! Their Tom Yum soup is stellar!! It's so good I want to take it to all the other Thai food places that I've been to and say this is how it's done! Their yellow curry is amazing, and so is all Of the noodles dishes. I've been wanting to write this review for a while but today the lady that checked me out new my name when I called, and my story. On my way out the door she asked me if I would like some tea? I've never tried Thai tea before. My response was yes I would love to try it. I'm so glad I did. The tea was fabulous. The people that work here are fabulous and the food is amazing!!!! There is nothing more that you could ask for! ENJOY!!!

Very yellow curry is amazing and...

I’m an avid Thai lover, and I love to try different Thai places. I am going to give this place a 5 stars for a few reasons. 1) I absolutely love their pad thai. It’s a different variant than the stereotypical ones you see with a thicker sauce to it, but I prefer this over any other pad thai for sure. I also like their Thai fried rice as well. Careful on spice as 4 is really spicy for some people. 2) I love the cute atmosphere in there. I recommend a lot of friends to go for date night, and they loved it. It’s small, cute, and cozy and doesn’t have that overwhelming atmosphere to it. I recommend getting the dessert fried bread to treat yo girl! 3) Lastly, I love the people there. The aunty and her two sisters run the restaurant there, and they are the nicest people I know. Overall, I come here when I get the thai cravings, and I always recommend it to others.
