This place was truly a 5/5 star experience all around. From the friendly waitress, to some of the best homemade food I’ve ever eaten in my life, I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know.
The place itself is on the smaller side and easy to overlook as we did for years, but once inside it is beautifully decorated and extremely clean and well kept! There is an abundance of outdoor seating and a fair bit of indoor seating too! The bathroom was stocked and clean, but was missing a baby changing table. No big deal in my opinion as the absence of one is better than a dirty/broken one like most other places have.
Service was top notch. The waitress seemed happy and eager to serve us and did so within seconds of us arriving. She checked on us consistently and our food arrived within about 5 minutes of us ordering which was great.
Now for the best part, food. We both ordered the Polish Trio which included a LARGE portion of flavorful and perfectly seasoned haluski, three thick loaded pierogies with tons of onion and butter, and a truly massive chunk of stuffed cabbage. We were both happily shocked by how large the portion was for ONLY $12.99!!!!! In this economy, that was a steal, especially being able to take a portion home. We also got pints of chicken dumpling and chicken and rice soups which were equally loaded and delicious. We couldn’t believe how naturally tasty and hearty it all was. All in all we spent $50 which was two polish platters, two extra stuffed cabbages, two pints of soup, and two drinks = four meals total plus a small serving for my baby boy who loved it all equally as much. We cannot wait to...
Read moreI have passed this place a dozen times and really wanted to try it. I called and did a take out order. The man on the phone was very nice. I picked my order up and it was ready when I got there. When I came home and tried everything, I’ll be honest I was pretty disappointed. To start, 4 buffalo ranch cheese sticks for $8 is kind of insane. They were decent but not worth the money. The perogies and Haluski were honestly the biggest disappointment since this is a polish food place. The perogies I got were sauerkraut. The perogies tasted horribly dry and the sauerkraut filling was even dryer. I felt like they were frozen before they were made which is a bummer since that tells me that they don’t make them fresh for each order. I also got butter and onions and there was the most minimal amount of butter possible which again is probably why they were so dry. The huluski was nothing great at all. It desperately lacked salt and flavor and was just pretty much tasteless. Overall not worth the $41 spent...
Read moreExcellent. Up in the top best restaurant food I've ever had. It tastes like a literally slice of home, I swear my grandma might be back there in the kitchen because its grandma's cooking level good. This was my first time here since I just started working nearby, my coworkers highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I do not know how I am going to stop myself from going here every day. The haluski is hands down the best haluski I have ever had other than my grandma's homemade. Service was great, the restaurant was cute. Lots of to-go options in the fridge of soup, mac salad, potato salad, etc. Prices were great. Service was quick and friendly. There's an adorable outside eating...
