i honestly don’t even know where to start with this place. we’re not picky people at all, but the whole experience was just awful if not the worst i ever had. the portions were a joke. $22 for six shrimp and literally half a tomato slice. ( some appetizers were literally bigger and mind you, this was the dish the server recommended us) there was a hair in the food. they didn’t even replace it, they brushed it off and offered a “discount.” super gross and unprofessional. the people who had hair in the food literally had to pick it off and eat we waited over an hour and a half and some of us never even got our food or drinks. when we finally flagged down another server (after being ignored for ages), he admitted the kitchen hadn’t even started on the order. as we were about to leave, he suddenly dropped off one dish, charged us for it, and we had no chance to eat it. part of the group already had finished their meal and hour before while some of us never even got anything when someone in our group tried to cancel a dish that they realized is a scam, the staff snapped at us and said we’d be charged anyway. the way they spoke was rude, defensive, and unnecessarily aggressive. our server kiomy made things even worse. after we complained, she wouldn’t look at us, ignored the table completely, and acted like we didn’t exist. they claimed they “forgot” certain items, but the bill showed everything checked off as if it was served. even the missing dishes were circled. the absolute worst part , when we asked for the bill to be fixed, they threatened to call the police. it felt like intimidation, and the staff’s tone was hostile and aggressive the entire time. they clearly took advantage of the fact we were tourists about to miss a boat.

the combination of barely mediocre food, endless waiting, rude and aggressive staff, and flat-out dishonesty made this one of the worst dining experiences i’ve ever had. literally go eat anywhere else, the food will be better, will come faster and half the price if not less, and the service will...

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything about our visit was a disaster.

First of all, the service was beyond unacceptable. Kiomy, who was serving us, was incredibly disrespectful and dismissive. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, she acted as if we were an inconvenience. On top of that, another man working alongside her was equally unprofessional and rude, making the entire experience even worse.

The wait for our food was ridiculous. Half of the table received their meals after over an hour of waiting, while the rest of us had to wait another hour before our food finally showed up. During that time, no one came over to check on us or update us on the delay. When we brought it up, we were treated with complete disregard, as if our complaints didn’t matter.

Because the service was so slow, we ended up canceling some items that still hadn’t arrived after waiting so long. Despite this, those items somehow showed up at the table just as we were getting ready to leave. When we explained that we had canceled them, we were told they couldn’t be taken off the bill since “the food arrived.” That kind of attitude and lack of accountability is unacceptable in any restaurant.

As if the service issues weren’t enough, the quality of the food was also appalling. The chicken wings came out with hair on them, which is absolutely disgusting and a huge health concern. The shrimp portion was tiny and insulting for $22 — nowhere near worth the price.

After all of this, the restaurant still expected us to pay nearly 90% of the bill, which was outrageous given the circumstances. The combination of disrespectful service, lack of professionalism, extremely long waits, poor food quality, and being overcharged left us shocked.

The level of disrespect was on another level, and this entire experience was beyond disappointing. We will never return, and I strongly caution others to think twice before...

Food and cocktails were delicious. Atmosphere is fun and lively. Restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. The server, Tai, needs some customer service training. She, begrudgingly, brought menus. We ordered water with $90+ worth of drinks and food. She asked if we wanted tap or bottled, to which we answered tap. We had to go and ask for the coca-cola. After waiting about 7 minutes, following delivery of the pina coladas, we had to go get her attention at the bar and ask for our son's coca-cola. No, the bar was not busy. She didn't bring the water until we were nearly finished with our pina coladas. When we got the bill, she charged for the water. I think it was an honest mistake, but she didn't apologize and looked perturbed to have to address. There was confusion about one of our ordered food items. We thought it was an empanada, but she explained that because empanada follows, instead of precedes, it means breaded, and not empanada. Then she proceeded to tell me I need to learn Spanish, because I'm in Puerto Rico. I'm trying really hard not to be offended. We were trying to use our limited Spanish. We're only here for 1 week. Thankfully, everyone else we've encountered on Vieques has been very friendly...

Only place that was open until 9pm in Vieques. Went everywhere trying to find dinner and this was the only place that stayed open until “late” we took our food back to the hotel and enjoyed the ambience of the bar while we waited. The fish was just ok as it needed a bit more flavor and it was just steamed but I really liked the rice and beans and the tostones de pana. It was quite a lot of food for one person and it’s the very first restaurant you see when you come from the ferry. There’s this cute dog outside/ nearby most of the time. We’ll have to come back and try some other plates.

The owner and his daughter who run the place are awesome. We got in late because our flight was delayed. They'd already closed the restaurant (so just open for drinks) but very kindly made us some (party of 6) delicious quesadillas, plantains, and fries. The locals who were near us were also very kind and welcoming. 10/10 recommend this place. Thank you!
