I enjoyed this beach, but have a few notes for anyone else visiting. There is no dedicated parking. The beach is literally against the edge of the city so we parked a few blocks away and walked. There is no restroom facilities here. The beach did have a lot of seaglass, but the pieces were mostly tiny, like smaller than the size of my pinky nail. Be careful walking around in the sand without shoes. Most of the rocks and glass got washed up to the higher part of the shore leaving a nice sandy area to walk around in, but there were still a few random pieces around. This didn't seem like the type of beach you go swimming in per se, but the water was very warm and the beach was free.of seaweed, which was one of the few beaches we went to that didn't have any. A horse also wandered onto the beach while we were there. Definitely good for a quick stop, but not one I would...

If you locate the yellow/green house, you'll find what looks to be a sunken pier (the tree on the right of my photo blocks it). Snorkel around that area and you'll see tons of fish! It does seem shallow in some areas, but if you swim out a little, it gets better. Warning: we encountered 2 moon jellyfish here. I don't know if jellyfish are common here, but it's good to be conscious of since they just go with the flow. You'll also find lots of medium-small crabs along the beach and at the rocky area...

Of course it is a city beach and there is some trash here and there, but on a calm day, when sand isn't stirred up and visibility is good, it is arguably the best snorkelling experience on Vieques accessible for free from the shore.
Beach is easy walking distance from the ferry and the restoraunts located around the main street.
There are nice shaded spots in the afternoon and sunsets are picturesque in...
