Famous Kitchen — Restaurant in Issaquah

Truly heartbroken because I ordered half a roast duck and even tipped 20% for TAKEOUT to support the business. I was given no breast or leg, it was NOWHERE close to being half a duck. They layered the top with "better pieces" and under that was ALL bones and skin. It was mainly neck bones. I have came here a few times and each time the quality has been worst (The beef chow fun had no flavor, roast pork will tend to be salty on most orders than not). The quality/portion was much better last year where it was a 5 star to me, I was so happy to have this restaurant so close to me. It's truly sad because this is one of the closest Chinese BBQs in this area besides Bellevue. I wished I read the most recent reviews from Google to Yelp to see that they have been skimping on their food portion. I hate making negative reviews but I am truly upset at how bad takeout has been this past year. Reading the other reviews it seems they truly skimp and make less effort for takeout. Ordered 2 lbs of roasted pork and got 2 lbs of pure fat. I mean, it was not even edible. I was surprised that it was even served since most places would just throw it away because no customers would want it or use it as grease for cooking. Luckily I checked before leaving the parking lot and went back and asked them to give me something that was leaner. I think when I went back, they knew why I was coming back too. Literally, it was just 1 cm strip of meat in a slice and the rest of it was fat and a slice was about 2 inches. I was annoyed that they could just serve that and think it was okay. It wasn't like the order was ready when I got there, I waited a good 15 mins for them to cut the meat and package it.

Word of advice, check your meat before you go. You really can't see it when they cut it.

I think I will stick with Chinatown's Kau Kau or even the BBQ area at 99 Ranch Market from now on. It is not worth the drive if you're just going to get...
