Oops, I'm kind of surprised I haven't added my review for this place yet. I've been visiting here for the past three years - most recently so after Covid19 quarantine because I found that this restaurant is some of the cleanest restaurants around.
Starting with the cleanliness - you know how the sauce bottles at Asian restaurants are always sticky? Yeah, none of that here since they've reopened after quarantine started. Every bottle is cleaned after usage, the seats and tables are spotless - and if you don't know how rare this is at an Asian restaurant, oh boy. The staff is mostly masked, though I must admit, that not all of them cover their noses properly with the mask (please don't spit in my food next time

Here in the unassuming suburb of Issaquah is such an example where lack of competition is to everyone's detriment. With only one other nearby pho place (Jenny Pho), Issaquah Pho is surreptitiously allowed to backslide from its previous engagement as a more formidable Pho Hoa, which has since located to Bellevue.
Maybe I came on an off day, though in the restaurant business I'm sure you are scarcely allowed any off days, because just about every culinary faux pas to be had was indeed had here. Seating direction was unclear and once seated, attempts at flagging down a waiter for menus or water proved unfruitful. We had to get our own menus and water came after 15 minutes spent observing which portions of the ground were not streaked with mud or curiously sticky, which is to say that, broadly speaking, this place could use a deep clean. I won't knock the staff, because they were very agreeable people and more than friendly, but organization conjured bad memories of middle school lockers.
Still, the pho was good, though i would really be more impressed if they, or for that matter anybody, found a way to mess up their namesake dish. On the basis of price and leaving satisfied, three stars seems appropriate if not a little high, but they benefit from the fact that it was a rainy day and our wet shoes surely left those sticky floors a little cleaner than when we...
Read moreGot my order completely in correct. Then when we called them they blamed us for saying the wrong thing. This is very inefficient. Korean owned Vietnamese place with very rude customer service. Cannot admit that they are wrong. This is the problem with most Korean owned places that I noticed. They ask you what you ordered and go by that. Instead of asking for names and giving order based on names. If someone has the exact same order except for one allergy specification like if I said no peanuts, this entire process would fall apart. Was not looking for refunds, but wanted them to know that their process was not working and both owners were yelling and screaming on the phone.
Never come here if you want real authentic Vietnamese food. The food was mediocre but we order it because it is to closest to our place. I would rather drive further now. Thank you for opening our eyes to your terrible customer service and very...
