Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Think I've said it before "it's DQ" anyone who doesn't like DQ has issues ! I'm not an ice cream person, but do love their treats and eats. My only complaint would be the lack of flavors of their misty slushes. Not sure why they dropped down to just a few because I recall growing up in the 80s and 90s there being at least double the AMT of flavors. The food was great. I however misread the flavor of the month which was white chocolate chip blizzard and couldn't eat it due to it having actual chocolate in it ( thought it was reg vanilla ice cream with white chocolate chips blended in ) and the base was way way too sweet ( like drinking birthday cake flavored coffee creamer) so I'll be sure in the future to ask what's in it . Service was wonderful. Everyone was nice and polite. I was nicely greeted and any questions we had were answered . Atmosphere was your basis DQ atmosphere. Welcoming and family friendly. Inside was very clean and seems to be kept up on. Parking was decent. Place had a nice flow inside and out including the pace of getting in, ordering and getting your food Food was nice and hot for the hot foods and nice and cold for the treats . Can't think of anything negative. So they are doing so much right! Prices for meals were much better than the crapo fast food chains and they have some value meal type stuff where you can get a whole meal and dessert for like $7 along with some not full meal value items that are nicely priced for the...

Simply put, do not go here. Theres a local spot off broadway for ice cream, and plenty of other options for food in the area. You will wait remarkably long for food that is a step above concession food. Lake, their Manager, was rude and completely unhelpful. We were told to wait in a spot near the restaurant for our food. we proceeded to wait another 15 minutes (after waiting in the line, and at the drive through, probably there about 30 mins by that point) then someone came out saying they forgot about our order and that he would get it fixed. He comes back out and give us a completely different order. We are at that point there for fourty five minutes, for CHICKEN TENDERS. Obviously frustrated we pull around to try and get our food we PAID FOR. I ask for a manager , to which Lake came to the window and said and i wish I was kidding "What?" .......... This is an fast food chain ran by some high school students who could give a crap about anyone else but themselves. Just moved to the area and sad to say I will 100% not be back. Definitely won’t be going back. This DQ is experiencing so much back lash on social media and it honestly makes me and my family afraid to even go here anymore. We shouldn’t have to worry about spoiled ice cream being served, it’s literally disgusting and can make a ton of people sick. I do not see the owner even responding to 1 star reviews since they probably know about the issue and refuse to take care of it. No offense to anyone, but there’s an issue with the way this location is managed/operated. I will be contacting the health department along with a lot of other people...
