This was our first time at Francisco’s. We usually cannot stray out of our normal array of “restaurants” because my son is on the autism spectrum and does not normally want anything other than the normal French fries and pizza or hot dog… maybe even chicken nuggets if he’s really stretching himself (😬). But not today! We started off with the chicken flautas. They were delicious with the tomato and tomatillo sauces. My daughter ordered the Burrito Cantina with steak and dug in so fast we didn’t get a picture. They report that it was so delicious and smoky! I ordered the grilled Chicken fajitas. They, as well, were delicious, juicy and so well plated! The service was exceptional. We felt as If everyone who worked in the restaurant was waiting on us! They were friendly, attentive and kind. The pièce de résistance though was that I ordered the chicken nuggets and fries for my son (completely expecting the microwaved and processed ones we usually receive from a children’s menu). The plate arrived and was full of fries and homemade, hand breaded nuggets of chicken breast. He took one bite, turned to me and said, “Mom, these are freaking delicious!” Give Francisco’s a try. We are glad we did!

Went to Francisco's last night for my birthday dinner. Our party of 7 was seated quickly in the attractive restaurant. We were told right away that they were short-staffed, so we were prepared for a wait. Thank goodness we were told upfront, or several of us might have been cranky. The menu had something for everyone, and the vegans in our group were quickly offered modifications to any of the enchiladas which was really kind of them. Our drinks were tasty, every type of margarita we tried was delicious. One of us had sangria and said it's her new favorite. :) I had the Pollo con crema, and it was fantastic. Almost too much chicken and gravy for the amount of rice, but I powered through. To top off our dinner, I'd hoped for a piece of the tres leche cake, but alas, they were out of it. Our server Margarita put together a really cool plate of churros and wrote Happy Birthday on it. Friendly service and good food will keep us coming back. Hope the staffing shortage gets better, we arrived at 5:30 and I got home at 8:30. So just be aware if you are in a hurry.

Back in February 2024 right after my birthday and they are still crushing it. Some of the best food in Canton, especially when it comes to authentic Mexican cuisine. Owner and services wonderful and I would recommend everyone supporting this restaurant in the Canton area! I just had the pork chops tonight and they were absolutely fabulous. February 2023: Had a great meal with the family. We just moved here from Charlotte and the food was excellent. They were a bit understaffed so I ordered two drinks at a time to compensate for that which ended up being a great call on my part. I had the carnitas tacos which were delicious and one of their soups. Fast forward to July of 2022 they're still crushing it! Fast forward to February 2023. Still crushing it. I love this place and it is our family's favorite Mexican spot in all of Canton. The owner and staff treat you like family members.

I can't speak to the food because the service is so absolutely horrible. I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now and also wanted to support a new local restaurant during COVID. I first tried to order through Uber Eats. When the Uber eats driver called the restaurant to place the order they told him that it would be at least an hour and a half before it was ready. I decided to cancel my order because it meant that we wouldn't get our food until after 9:00 p.m. I wanted to give them another shot so the next day I placed an order online directly with the restaurant. The online system told me that my order would be ready in an hour, at 7:30 p.m. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 and after learning that they do not offer any curbside service, my husband went in to pick up the order. When he went in, they told him it would be "just a couple more minutes". In hindsight, it's clear that they had not even started our order yet. My husband waited for over 40 minutes for the food to be ready. As I pulled up to the restaurant door to see what was happening ( I had a crying baby waiting in the car the entire time) my husband said that the manager had just come out and told him that they were packaging up our order and it would be out in just a second. I sat in the parking lot for another 15 minutes until my husband came out without any food. When he asked again after 15 minutes had passed, they informed him that they were still waiting on two items in our order, directly contradicting what the manager had told him 15 minutes before. At that point, my husband decided to leave without our order and asked them to give us a refund. I called to confirm that they would be refunding us for our order, and the associate that answered the phone confirmed, all the while not once apologizing for leading us on for over 40 minutes telling us that our order was just getting wrapped up. It's hysterical to me that this restaurant screwed up my dinner plans two nights in a row and I have still not even had the chance to taste the food. I don't foresee myself ever going back for a third time to see you if it's even worth it. Clearly this restaurant has a time management issue that they need to resolve if they want to remain in business, especially during a time where the majority of their orders are (I'm...

I just want to say WOW!! This place is amazing. The character of these workers is just absolutely amazing. I’ve never seen a better crew of employees. Came here on a Friday night and they were SO busy. I mean I would’ve been overwhelmed but these employees kept it calm & cool. First, one employee broke a glass honestly because he was carrying a lot and SO many of us were standing in his way waiting. Not only did they rush over to clean it up but then APOLOGIZED to us for breaking it. We were like no we’re sorry there’s so many of us in your way! Also, the woman who was the hostess was AMAZING as well. I never asked for a high chair but she came up to me and said would it be easier with a high chair I said yes please. She then proceeded to HELP ME put my daughter into the seat when I was struggling and to push her boots into the seat. Purely amazing, she also moved my daughters placemat with her crayons over to her as well and was in high spirits. And the man who served us drinks at the bar who I believe (not 100%) may be the owner was so accommodating and hard working! He gave us a drink on the house for our wait. Which is honestly so typical for a Friday night anyways, they handled it so so well. I’ve never seen someone rush and work so hard to please his customers, I just applaud these people so much for being such amazing people and I will continue to go back and give them my business. I’m blown away, all their employees are just amazing...

**UPDATE: This place has absolutely redeemed itself! My wife and I went back the other night for the first time since our previous visit. Everything was outstanding! Food was hot and delicious. Our server was attentive and kind. Really an impressive turnaround from our previous visit. Absolutely worthy of 5 stars this time! Came here on a Wednesday night, not super busy. There were about 7-8 other tables in the restaurant, a few people at the bar. We were seated and waited on directly. We ordered Margaritas first and then cheese dip.

Here’s where it gets interesting...

Servers were very friendly. Brought us our app, chips and salsa. A few minutes later, came and got our food order (we asked about the drinks). At this point, we’d been seated for roughly 15 minutes... We waited another 5 minutes and asked again, drinks were on the way.... Then, our food arrived at the table, piping hot and delicious, followed shortly by our margaritas.

Now, I’ll say it again for everyone in the back... THE.FOOD.BEAT.THE.DRINKS.TO.THE.TABLE. .... I’ve never had this happen at any other restaurant, so it was quite amazing to me. The food and table service were VERY good. But whoever is behind the bar needs some retraining, or a bit of motivation. Drinks, of any kind, should never take that long and should absolutely NEVER be beaten to the table by the main course....

Simple changes that can take this place...
