They say to have patience when you are getting services, specially due to staff and supply chain shortages but when you pay for a service, one expects a service worth the amount one is paying. the service, management, corporate and area director fail completely.
It was a great place to eat, we used to eat there every time we wanted great food and service. Unfortunately this particular day we went to have a nice dinner. Many things went wrong. I asked for a coffee and they brought a cold coffee. I asked the waitress to heat up my cup of coffee and she brought me a different coffee witch was ridiculously strong, I ended up not drinking any of the two coffees they brought and I asked for the most expensive steak they had because I had order it before but when they brought the steak it was well done, even burn in some areas I ASKED FOR A MEDIUM WELL steak, also asked for mash potatoes and brought me a baked potato, and I even had to ask for silverware because we had non on our table 😳 the waitress offer to call her supervisor witch apologized for the steak and offer to get me another steak, witch I was afraid to get because I knew it would take a considerable amount of time and my family was already eating. By the time the new steak came out my family had finish eating. I was very disappointed and asked for a box to take my steak. There was no point on eating alone when I was trying to have a family dinner. The bill was over $70 dollars and they even charge me for the coffe I NEVER DRANK. At that point I was so frustrated that I paid the bill and left. The worse part is that I actually complain to corporate and I got a call from a lady asking for my statement and she promise the area director would call me to apologize and to ask me about the incident. I never got a call back. I have gotten bad service at McDonald's before once or twice in my life but the $3.75 cents I paid for my oatmeal makes me know the kind of service I am asking for so there is no point on complaining, but the day I pay MacDonald's $70+ dollars, and they get my coffe wrong I will call their corporate and complain. I have a feeling they might take my complain more serious. Sorry guys but you guys have lost me as a customer, but no worries Cracker Barrel is doing a fine job taking my money and their pork shops...
Read moreThis was my first time at Outback and I'll never return. We called ahead for a table and got seated instantly which was great. Since it was my first time there, I just HAD to try the blooming onion! It got served to us deconstructed on a plate. Just pieces of onion deep fried as well as raw seasoning that was also just tossed on the plate. The taste was worse than the presentation, believe it or not. The amount of salt was unbearable. After my family tried to enjoy the blooming onion, we couldn't even bring ourselves to find enough water to cleanse our pallet. Luckily, the waitress brought out two loafs of cold bread, yet the bottom was so stale or overcooked (hard to tell) we couldn't even cut it into slices. I ordered a beer to hopefully help get me some sort of relief, but it was empty well before the 49 minute wait for our main course to come. I ordered the prime rib. Thick, juicy medium rare prime rib with some nice dipping juices sounded great! What i was served was the thinnest cut meat I've ever seen, and so dry you could shingle a roof with it. After pouring water on the sandwich and dipping it in ketchup for any sort of flavor, i pushed it aside. My daughters chicken fingers were WARM not hot, so who knows how long they sat out for. My wife's chicken sandwich was so dry she needed a knife to cut it, but it had so much salt on it, she didn't finish 2 bites. We had full intentions to get dessert at this restaurant but after the main course there was no way we could even trust them to scoop ice cream the right way. The waitress did fantastic, and her service was great. As for the standards and quality of the food? Id rather stay home and eat...
Read moreCame here for my son's birthday because we had such a great experience last summer at an Outback that was in West Virginia on our way home from vacation. What a disappointment. We knew something was odd when the hostess couldn't even seat us a party of seven even though I saw a huge table open. Waitress was nice got our food ordered however took over an hour to get our meal. On top of that they were out of the usual warm bread they bring as an appetizer go figure. The Saving Grace was the waitress and manager kept us informed of the situation and said they would help with the bill. We eventually got our food after an hour and 15 minutes my kids were crying wanting to leave but we waited this long so we ate. My Victoria's filet look like a McDonald's hamburger, and the sirloin my wife and son got was so dry and chewy it was unedible. The chicken, grilled cheeses and salads were fine but the bloomin onion was so greasy you couldn't eat much of it. At the end of the day the manager covered the entire meal to make things right which helped the situation but this place needs some serious help. I almost forgot to mention the bathrooms were disgusting, build up all over as if they haven't been cleaned for some time, what I saw didn't just happen in one day. Stay clear until you start seeing some better reviews. The excuses where they were using a new system, and short in the kitchen????? Well, then don't take peoples business if you need some time to work things out, or don't have staff, stuff happens, its better to be...
