I had a bad experience at the McDonald's in Grove City Sunday February 4,2024 about 4:00p.m.located 3370 Broadway Grove City Ohio 43123 the managers is mistreating employees who works full time I applied for the job and I was given 40hrs.and Sarah gave me 5 days a week the managers allow 2nd shift to take my work schedule and sent me home the managers wait to 2nd shift to send people home trying to save 20-30 dollars and taken money away from me the General Manager Sara has a attitude about my work schedule she don't won't me to get 75hrs.the District Manager Jerry has a attitude and the HR Consultant Courtney Smith the District Manager Aaron has a attitude about my work schedule my hours has nothing to do with 2nd shift but McDonald's using this as a excuse saying there low on sales to send people home I'm not going to keep working for McDonald's if I have to go home every Sunday it doesn't make sense to work it's 80.00 dollars out of my check every month the managers doesn't care about your hours or your work schedule there doing everything they can to cut hours every Sunday the 2nd shift can't get up at 8:00a.m.so they come in late and mess up my work schedule and I get sent home its sad because of the way McDonald's treat employees i recommend nobody applies for a job at McDonald's in Grove City located 3370 Broadway Grove City 43123 the managers will send you home 2hrs.early every Sunday the McDonald's in Grove City has 25 stores but there still jealous against employees the managers don't wont you to make a certain amount of money so the managers make sure you don't get a 1,000 dollars every 2 weeks so they cut 4-5hrs.out of your work schedule every month to insure you get 70hrs.its a way to get back money from employees and a way to save money so they sent you home The General Manager Sara and The District Managers Jerry and Aaron are responsible the HR Consultant Courtney Smith was very argumentative and disrespectful she trying to justify complaints and take up for other managers Odette a female manager got mad because I ordered my shift meal in drive thru she cursed me out and yelled at me and all the managers took up for her McDonald's in Grove City claims they don't have money but they have 25 stores that is owned and operated the McDonald's short staff now because i quit im not going to let any company or manager mistreat me The General Manager Sara worried about sales and it was busy all week just because it slows down for 2hrs it doesn't give you the right to send me home when McDonald's has made thousands of dollars you only paying people 14.00 dollars a hour so my shift has nothing to do with 2nd shift good luck with McDonald's I will never ever in my life apply for McDonald's the managers don't won't you to clock in early and you will always get sent home if you scheduled to work at 8:00a.m.and get there at 7:50a.m.the General Manager Sara won't let you clock in trying to save 10 minutes some kind of way The General Manager Sara trying to save onions from a old tray that had steak in it The General Manager Sara shows favoritism when it comes to female employees she threatened the kitchen about eating chicken nuggets but didnt say anything to the female employees its favoritism she allowing certain employees to eat but not saying nothing to everyone else The Assistant General Manager Bill smokes and vapes weed inside of the restaurant by the dish area its a weed pen the smoke disappears in a few seconds and it leaves a light weed smell Bill gets away with vaping weed at the restaurant i recommend a drug test...
Read moreThey definately need to change their Grease.. fries have been undercooked, not fresh, hasbrowns have been disgusting with and old taste. Sausage mcmuffins are always burnt... the mcdouble bread was hard. I came here 5 times in 1 week while waiting on my replacement stove..I will not be back for awhile.
Update: because it's convenient ive made the mistake of coming back here, unfortunately the later shift cannot get it together, I always have to pull in a spot to wait on my food even if I order 2 items, then am left waiting 10-15 minutes. They add so much milk with the ice coffees it's really milk with a splash of coffee. Mcchickens are way over cooked, fries are soggy. Morning shift is def more polite, and more together but that afternoon shift 👎 👎 👎. Everytime I order cookies ill order 2 packs of 2 and they only give me a total of 2 but charge me for 4, sometimes I catch it before I leave other times I notice it when I get home. I will be sticking mostly with the grove city or w jeff location. Their food is wayyyy better, farther drive but worth the quality. Also when I ordered a 7$ chicken sandwich and they left it out and I called was told I could get it anytime and went to get it they had no record of me calling even tho I had my recipe and the managers name, to which it became embarrassing asking for the food I paid for and didn't get! Where I just drive away. I am completely done with this mcdonalds. Also, please clean the soda machine it is absolutely disgusting! It hasn't been cleaned in months! Read moreI would give no stars if I could. McDonald's is going down hill. I choose to do curbside so that I am out of the mess inside and the drive thru is always crazy!! When I order for curbside 4 out of 5 times you can't get a spot. There are only 2 spots for one of the busiest McDonald's. People park there that don't order curbside. Also half the time the app goes crazy so I end up having to go inside. Then no one is working the register. Everyone there is either working Doordash or drive thru but no one is working the register. I stood there for over 10 minutes trying to get some help. Finally when I got my food and returned home it was ice cold. My sandwich looked like it was made yesterday and I had a custom sandwich. The lettuce looked old, the 2 tomatoes were the size of quarters and mushy. I also ordered medium fries that were cold tiny little pieces but they didn't even fill the box. I used to love McDonald's but I seriously think they don't care anymore about the food and how it's prepared and they don't care about customer service. Something needs to change!!! Teach your workers how to cook. Also teach customer service!!! Have someone always working the front register. Also who ever works the front should be able to understand English for those who don't speak multiple languages. Common sense is all that...
