DO Dah's Donuts — Restaurant in Jackson

I will start this review sharing a little about Customer Service. I Love walking into a donut shop where you're greeted by the owner or the employees. **For customer service Do Dahs donuts in Jackson Tennessee gets a ☆☆☆☆☆5 star rating! very friendly & personable! **Moving onto appearance & cleanliness... ☆☆☆☆☆ another 5-star rating. Stone at shop is definitely sparkling clean Which is very much appreciated!! **Next the 🍩donuts... 🍩 Once we got into the car we each tried a 🍩donut 🍩hole because we didn't want to get full right before lunch. Stop the donut holalone I knew these were going to be delicious 🍩donuts 🍩 The donut hole was light fluffy & fresh. The glaze was not extra sweet which is a good thing! It was a perfect glaze to dough ratio. Next I tried the red velvet 🍩cake🍩 donut. Which was very good! I have not tried the larger glaze donut yet own it yet because I'm headed to Jimmy John's for lunch! But I know based off of the donut hole alone it's going to be a wonderfully delicious tasting donut!

Disappointing doughnuts. Tasted like the doughnuts were fried in oil that had past its prime. Also, noticed that only one side of my doughnut was glazed. This seems to be the norm on the doughnut shop world. Is butter and sugar so expensive that the only way to turn a profit while selling doughnuts is to only put glaze on one side of the doughnut? The doughnut color is too light and makes the doughnuts look raw. The best doughnuts sold in Jackson are to be found in a Krispy Kreme box at Walmart. Just warm them in the microwave for a few seconds before you absolutely...

I've been coming here for years, food here is better than Dunkin in my opinion. I usually stop by early morning before the office workers come in and clean them out. 3 dozen, 2 dozen...but the fact that their inventory is wiped out on a daily basis is a testament to how delicious it is.
