This is the worst place I've eaten at in 30 plus years. We have always patronize Long John Silver's whenever possible because they have always had good food friendly staff and you didn't get sick after eating it. However at this particular location the one in Dyersburg Tennessee is polar opposite. Honestly is a very poor representation of the Long John Silver's franchise. The oil from the fish was dripping off, the shrimp was barely cooked, the coleslaw taste like it set all day or maybe even longer and had a stale taste to it so it was an edible, the hush puppies has so much garlic in them let's just say that after eating one of them you wouldn't have to worry about vampires for an entire year. The fries were not the fries we were used to getting at Long John Silver's rather they were nothing more than microwave Ore-Ida fries that's what they tasted like they were mushy there was no crispitos about them at all and they were overcooked to say the least. Not to mention the handicap access is very difficult to maneuver even for someone on a cane I would hate to be somebody with a walker or wheelchair. And their bathroom is not handicap accessible. Plus the staff is excessively rude, they don't know what you're asking. When asked if their water was tap water or filtered the staff looked at my mother as if she had spoken a language never heard before, and finally about the third or fourth time she explained what filtered water meant they said no we just turn on the faucet and get it which anybody knows that is tap water. And the final straw that ruined our dinner there was the fact that the floors were so greasy you literally could see footprints in the grease oh, you had to be extremely careful as you walked on them to avoid slipping and falling as if they were mopped with dirty water then it just cleaned up some kind of oil and the table we had to wipe off ourselves no one would do it. Read moreMost unprofessional place I've ever been to in my life, placed an online order for pickup stated I'd be there to pick up at 8:30 , store doesn't close until 9. Bought $40 worth of food, we arrive at 8:30 to get out food & the store is closed there's one guy in there working who refuses to speak to my husband because there closed. My husband drives around back to see a door propped open & he gets out knocks on door & yells at the guy that we have a order for pickup that we've done payed for he stated there wasn't anything he could do about it & that we need to cancel it ourselves even though my card had already been charged, stated to my husband if we didn't leave he was calling the cops, I called long John silvers on highland Ave to see about getting corporates number she asked if there was anything she could do for me I explained to her what had just happened she told me to come there & theyd have my order ready which was extremely nice because at this time it was 15 mins till close & she took on another order that she didn't have to due to the other location being so unprofessional. Long John silvers on highland will always get my busy for now on. This location will not. I spoke to the corporate manager & he really just kinda said that well when you do an online order it doesn't show your number or email for callback, he said that they there were suppose to call him to let them know they was closing early so he could turn off the online orders which they also didn't do. Read moreMy experience was AWFUL!!!!! On 5/3/2017 I placed my order at the drive thru. Two people were at the window, one was doing something to the cash register, a man reached around her (Rashad T.) took my money. Shortly handed me the food and I drove all the way home (10 miles) to realize they gave me the wrong order. This has happened there way too often. This time I drove all the way back and showed them the problem. It was just kind of a shrug and an "oh well" kind of attitude. This after the expense and time to me on more than one occasion, I said I would like a gift certificate or something for my trouble, Rashad just kind of laughed, like it was a joke. When he realized I wasn't kidding, he turned to another lady and and said she wants a gift certificate or something, I assume this lady was the manager, anyway she just kind of smirked and said "We can't do that", by this time yet another lady noticed what was happening and they all had a good laugh. Not ever an apology or anything. It was all such an "I don't care" or "too bad" attitude. I couldn't forget about it all day long and it still bothers me. Where is the management in these fast food restaurants, they are filthy and the staff for the most part are untrained and don't seem to care at all!!
