6th year visiting Jackson hole, 1st time spending our week in Teton village. This was the highlight of our trip for a multitude of reasons!!! Let me start with acknowledging we all know Jackson hole is a ski resort with steep prices and we all know that going in, with that comes high income individuals and high expectations for a dining scene. The staff at their sister restaurant accommodated us the night before and got me my wife and 10 year old son a reservation for next night. It is a quaint and more adult atmosphere from the looks of it, but you will be blown away with how accommodating of an experience Chef Hunter, manager Evan (I believe) and the entire staff are willing to adjust to make your night spectacular! Chef himself was educating my son and myself included with visual presentations of the fish and products they will be using while also providing samples to curate off the menu experiences for all!! The food was visibly stunning compared to even that of NoBu or other high Japanese restaurants in Chicago/New York etc. and the taste and presentation came through in spades!!! From my son trying a sample of caviar, to best the nigiri and use of fresh wasabi by request was such a stunning engaging experience. The Ramen bowls were delectable and a great dish to start with to warm up!!! Highly highly recommend! And Head Chef Hunter is beyond approachable and knowledgeable and if you’re excited to eat there , he is genuinely more excited than you that you are there! And it shows!!! Not the best photos but added for visual! Caviar sample for son. Big eye nigiri (top 1% provided solely to this restaurant)

Must-go place for dinner in Teton village. Amazing gem of a place - fantastic sushi that competes with (beats IMO) Nobu type places. Book it - you won’t be disappointed. Recommend getting a reservation at the bar - great atmosphere with super interactive sushi chefs, working to a backdrop of cool French hip hop and other offbeat music. Food was highlight. Everything we had was phenomenal. Recommend the karaage appetizer - some of the best I’ve ever had. Maki rolls were unique and creative flavors - we liked the shishito crunch and buri crunch rolls. We ordered a sampling of nigiri - the special butterfish was amazing. For dessert, they hit it out of the park. Sesame ice cream was a huge surprise - great combination of flavors with vanilla, crunchy sesame chips and honey. Huge - good for sharing. Chef gave us a few pieces of the Nama chocolate… wow, if you like chocolate, just order it. Out of this world. Highly recommend Shin Shin - bet this place will grow a following with the great food, vibe, and service.

This restaurant deserves a top spot on your Jackson itinerary. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is unforgettable—cozy fireplaces, stylish couches and chairs, a charming balcony, and even thoughtful touches like the soap in the bathroom all contribute to an elevated, inviting vibe. And then comes the food—somehow even better than the atmosphere. We were lucky to snag seats at the bar, where we watched Hunter and Will craft each sushi dish with incredible skill and precision. We ordered a lot (no regrets!), and while we poured soy sauce into the dish out of habit, we never touched it. The flavors and sauces in every bite were so well-balanced, so delicious, it simply wasn’t needed. Without a doubt, this was the best meal we had in Teton Village/Jackson—hands down. A huge thank you to Hunter, Will, and Haley for not only the exceptional food but also the warm and attentive hospitality. We can't wait to come back!
