Jackson Hole General Store — Local services in Jackson

Bad experience. I am a retired senior, a professional with a good education. I went into the store this afternoon and ordered a white chocolate cocoa. I charged the price to my card. I went to the pickup counter. I was the only person at the counter at that time.The serving person brought the beverage and muttered a word I did not follow. I have a slight hearing problem . I took the cup and came outside to join my husband, who took a sip and said it tasted like coffee. Just then a woman came out of the store and loudly accused me of having"taken her drink which I had not paid for". Essentially accusing me of theft. I told her I had paid for the drink. She said the server had told her I had taken her drink without paying for it. I went into the store. The server gave me the cocoa. I returned the supposed coffee. No apologies from either the store or the well dressed, but poorly brought up, customer. The store did not care to tell the irate customer that I had paid for the drink and that the error was...

If I could leave zero stars I would. $10 for a small milk shake that was mostly milk. It was warm (gross) and had little chunks of ?? The staff was rude and condescending when asking a couple of simple questions about menu flavors. They filled the cup so full that when you insert the straw in the lid the "milk shake" flowed completely over the top and down the sides. They offer you no napkins and seemed rather amused to watch you walk away as you are left dealing with a sticky milky mess all over your hands. If this the only place to get a milk shake in Teton village, and it probably is... stick with different treat or drive into nearby Jackson to get a shake...

On Saturday, 09/12/2020, I stood at the door waiting to get in. They only allow 3 people at a time inside. There is a table with hand sanitizier, extra masks etc blocking the door entrance. I notified the employee I cannot wear mask due to medical and just needed bottle water and he said he couldn't serve me. I suggested that I would hold the mask out from my mouth, but the female employee said "you need to go out or I will call security! " in very intimidating angry tone. This was uncalled for. Ugly people in that store. Never again. Went elsewhere...
