BEST CUPCAKES EVER!!!!! We got married in sort of the middle of nowhere in Michigan, and we have to admit that we were a little nervous that we basically only had one choice for our baker for our wedding. After we tasted some cupcakes from Blue Julep, we were SO HAPPY they are truly the best cupcakes ever!!! Everywhere online said to order dessert for 40% of your guest count… we did 200% (160 cupcakes for 75 guests) and ALL BUT 10 WERE GONE BY THE END OF THE NIGHT! So many compliments from all of our guests about how much they loved the cupcakes. Laura was a joy to work with and we were so happy with how all of our cupcakes turned out. They also just moved into such a beautiful space on Michigan Ave! I wish we lived closer so we could eat these cupcakes all the time (but it’s probably for the best for our bodies that we’re hundreds of miles away in Boston haha!). Definitely use Blue Julep for all of your baked goods needs!!!!

My husband and I ordered our wedding cake through The Blue Julep and it was nothing short of amazing. We ordered a vintage style, 2-tiered wedding cake and the flavor was lemon with a raspberry filling. We picked it up the Friday before our Saturday wedding, and it was very secure on the ride to our venue. We didn’t eat too much of it on our wedding night, but the rest is saved in our freezer for special occasions. The small piece we had was amazing!! Every guest loved our cake and wished they could cut themselves a piece because of how beautiful it was. We added a vintage cake plate under it, which fit perfectly!! These cupcake transcend your soul to a delicious heaven. I have travelled and lived around the country, in major foodie cities like New York and Seattle. Before I had Blue Julep I would have said no cupcake is better than a slice of cake. These cupcakes however, are better than any dessert I’ve ever tasted! They are presented beautifully, a wonderful texture, depth of richness and flavor. They are perfection. Get these for your birthday party if you want to treat your guests.
