Me and a group of 5 others had driven to multiple other spots looking for somewhere to get breakfast that didn’t have a wild wait. It was Saturday morning, so we hadn’t had much luck. Finally, we found this lovely little gem of a spot. We were immediately greeted with the warmest welcome and told their coffee special. No show of irritation at a large group piling in. A woman that I can only assume was the owner came out and immediately started getting our food orders. Everyone was pleased with their food, and we all got their iced coffee special, which we all thoroughly enjoyed as well! As a barista of 4+ years and a coffee shop manager, I’m hard to impress, but the coffee was smooth and flavorful. We had plans for the rest of our day, so left shortly after eating, but there were games, books, lots of stuff to occupy time if you wanted to sit and hang out. It was just such a sweet little shop, and a perfect start to our day, I had to leave a review. Come support this business! They are wonderful...
Read morePlease learn the art of making coffee (I don't mean the visual latte art) Being an at home coffee lover with an espresso machine, I am NOT a batista, but even I could have made it better. It was painful to watch my latte being made. Please take 20 minutes to watch a YouTube on how to make an espresso shot and steam milk properly. The tamp used was the cheap plastic one that comes with a cheap machine, and the coffee grounds were barely even tampered into the base with no puck being formed, this causes the espresso shot to be bitter. A good tamp with calibrated PSI can be found for as little as $30. I would expect a coffee shop not to use a plastic tamp and poorly at that. She put the (filthy) wand straight down into the milk and walked away. Learn how to properly froth/steam milk. The steam wand was covered in dried milk and wasn't purged or wiped after being used. Gross. My latte was drinkable, the atmosphere was nice, and the woman working was very pleasant, but I will definitely not...
Read moreNormally I tried to give good reviews and always look for positive things on places but unfortunately we were so disappointed with everything we order stating with the so called coffee that really was just warm milk with barely any coffee flavor at all and we ordered with espresso coffee but all we got was a coffee from a plastic jar more like water than we ordered two bagels, one with the lox but all we got just some cream cheese mix with cucumbers not sure where the lox went and I'm not kidding 😂 the other bagel was just with cream cheese, same barely any. For sure almost $ 20 dollars wasted probably the coffee is better at any convenience store and you can get a better bagel n lox at Publix real big bagels no the Little thing we got. If you wanna a real coffee for your nice morning on vacation this is not the place to waste your money and vacation time . 😠 One good thing, the lady at the register was or tried to...
