Jax Beach — Attraction in Jacksonville Beach

Had wonderful time Saturday 530 to 630 north of pier with our 3-year old and and several others at water edge. A tall bigger 35ish lady with a black dog and white neck and another tan dog. Both medium size with short hair with pit bullish faces stopped at the water edge. Luckily the kids had gone up the sand. One dog pooped BIG. The lady pulled out a bag but delayed long enough to let the poops wash into the water right where we had been playing and others were returning to. I tried to tactfully ask her.."At least you tried to get the poop." She got angry saying several times...it's diluted .00001 and not harmful So I feel like she just carries bags so others "think" she gets the poop. Maybe I'm wrong... I just warned the other...

We spent the day at Jax Beach, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The ocean breeze, soft sand, and endless horizon made it such a peaceful escape. Sharing it with my wife, mom, and sister made the day even more special, from strolling the shoreline to just relaxing and soaking it all in together. Jacksonville Beach has that laid-back charm that makes you want to stay a little...

Love this beach! It's fairly clean and family friendly.

Parking can be an issue at times. The free parking areas near the beach fill up quickly. If you try to find a spot, you may be hunting for a hot minute. It's best to go early during off days.
