Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Jacksonville

This store is completely unprofessional/ unethical behavior. Usually I order a brownie Sunday warmed up and they refused to warm up the brownie. First they claimed that it was because I was in the drive thru. I offered to go to front window. Then they claimed that they didn’t warm them up at all. First 1 out of the 100 times I ever been there. As I proceeded to check out they handed the ice cream and slushy through the window. Which then I took a bite. As I proceeded to pay I was then told that they don’t have Apple Pay. Which is also a first. Come on it’s 2022 .Out of all the customers that this store receives it’s weird how they don’t have Applepay. The associate called a manager. Seen this manager handing out free food to all their white friends before. I Offered to cash app or send it to a associate with a card. Out of the 15 people that was in the store working no one had a cash app or Apple or card. Once again weird. Which I was denied anyway to resolve this situation. Then was told to give back the ice cream after I already took a bite. What was she going to do? put it back for next customer or throw it away. We’re still in Covid times still. Rather then being disappointed or starting a bigger argument I drive off. Then simply letting me leave in peace your establishment decides to get a private lawyer/investigation for $10 worth of ice cream. Calls my job plus other Unnecessary actions. I don’t know if it’s because of the color of my skin but I would recommend that this establishment evolves with Technology and how their employees handle...

One of the worst experiences I have had with them. I wanted an ice cream cake delivered for my Son's birthday. We asked them if they custom design. The boy took the order saying they do. He even talked on phone with their manager to confirm if they custom design. We wanted Ocean theme for the birthday.

A day before the birthday, we called them and asked if we could come. We were told that we have already been called and told that custom design is not possible. But we have never got a call and they were lying. When repeatedly questioned, the lady said the boy who took the order was new.

Then comes more. We went all the way to the store and placed an order for raspberry flavor standard cake. The lady said one is already available. We decided to take it. She went inside to write my son's name on it and came back with a completely messy top. When asked she said she accidentally put her finger on it as she couldn't balance herself while writing the name !!

We said please give us a new cake and we would come 2 hours before the birthday. We went the next day to collect and alas it was a vanilla flavor and not rhaspberry!! My wife was really really pissed off and disappointed. It's our son's first birthday.

So please please be careful with your orders. Funny thing is one other lady at the counter asked for an ice cream to eat there and she got three scoops. She said she got only one scoop a few days earlier. The lady at the counter replied that the boy/girl may...
