I really enjoy this Carraba’s! I have eaten at the River City location many times over the past 10 years, and never have had a complaint.

The food here is always great! I know that, if a patron was dissatisfied for some reason, they’d make it right. I definitely have my favorites, but I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered.

The service is fabulous here! Customer service is very important to me when I eat out, and I’m sure others agree! I mean, we’re spending our hard-earned cash so that we can be pampered a bit, right? No meal prep, nothing to clean up, somebody else—besides us lol—plating the food and bringing it to the table! I feel like we’re paying for all of that, along with our meals, when dining out. So, if service is poor, I am never going back. I’m sure y’all agree!

I have been super pleased with the service at this Carraba’s; it’s not “just okay”—it’s quite excellent! The servers are always knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and enthusiastic, without being overbearing. They check on patrons just enough to ensure everything is right. The restaurant manager often checks on us, too, which I really appreciate. I like feeling special! And this restaurant really delivers when it comes to making me feel that way.

The ambience is fine. It’s a chain restaurant in a humongous shopping area, so it’s nothing extraordinary, but it’s clean, the restrooms are always clean when I’ve had occasion to use them, and the noise level (they play big-band era tunes mostly) allows you to have a normal conversation at your table. What more could you ask?!

Wow, even for me this is a long review! Suffice to say, this particular Carraba’s location is one of my go-to places to dine out, in my area. I love it: Food, Service and Ambience! Whenever I have company, I bring them here, because it’s consistently excellent. Thanks, River...

Carrabba's Italian Grill is a popular chain restaurant known for its delicious Italian cuisine and warm, inviting atmosphere. I recently had the opportunity to dine at Carrabba's and while overall my experience was enjoyable, there was one dish that fell short of my expectations - the calamari.

Upon entering Carrabba's, I was immediately struck by the cozy ambiance and the tantalizing aroma of garlic and herbs wafting from the kitchen. The friendly staff greeted me warmly and led me to my table, where I perused the menu filled with tempting options. I decided to start my meal with the calamari, a classic Italian appetizer that I have always enjoyed.

When the calamari arrived at my table, I was initially impressed by the generous portion size and the golden brown color of the fried rings. However, upon taking my first bite, I was disappointed to find that the calamari was overcooked and overly battered. The texture was tough and chewy, lacking the tender, melt-in-your-mouth quality that I had come to expect from well-prepared calamari.

Despite this minor setback, the rest of my meal at Carrabba's was delicious. I enjoyed a flavorful pasta dish with a rich tomato sauce and perfectly cooked al dente noodles. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was lively, making for an overall pleasant dining experience.

In conclusion, while my experience at Carrabba's Italian Grill was mostly positive, the overcooked and overly battered calamari was a disappointment. I would still recommend Carrabba's to others looking for a tasty Italian meal in a welcoming setting, but I would caution against ordering the calamari. With its inviting ambiance and delicious menu offerings, Carrabba's remains a solid choice for a satisfying...

I came to Carabbas in Jacksonville on a revisit, prompted by my previous dining experience at a Carabbas in another city. My intention was to satisfy my craving for their grilled vegetable ravioli, but unfortunately, I was sincerely displeased. Regrettably, they had run out of the grilled vegetable ravioli, although I understand that this was beyond their control. Consequently, I opted for the Rigatoni Martino, which was satisfactory in terms of taste (picture included). However, my disappointment continued when I ordered the watermelon lemonade, as the basil leaf in my drink appeared withered and aged (picture included). I found it rather perplexing that a bartender could overlook such an issue. Subsequently, I returned the drink, and to my satisfaction, the waitress kindly replaced the wilted basil leaf with a fresh and exquisitely appealing one.

Following this incident, I visited the restroom and was absolutely appalled by its condition, considering it was still early in the afternoon, at approximately 2 PM. The presence of unsightly toilet bowl stains, lingering soap residue, and a cluttered floor left a disconcerting impression (pictures included). Regrettably, encountering an untidy restroom of this nature ignites concerns about the overall cleanliness of the establishment. If the bathrooms are maintained in such an unkempt state, it raises doubt about the standards upheld within the kitchen. Consequently, my confidence in the hygiene of the establishment was severely shaken, leaving me with an unpleasant sentiment. Subsequently, I have decided that I will not be patronizing this specific venue...

I am literally doing this review sitting at the bar right now. I came in and not to make this strictly about race because I come here all the time. At the time I was the only black at the bar. Although it was busy Tyler continued to help everyone but me and I questioned when my friend showed if I should go somewhere else. I stayed because I come a-lot to this location. I got bread with no oil and herbs. I ordered the new filet and shrimp pasta toscana. I asked for medium well. It came out rare and the noddles were still in big balls with watery sauce. I advised that I rather just order my norm and sent back. Tyler checked the order and said it was cooked wrong because the order was place correct and would notify the manager. I then ordered my norm simple salmon to go. It comes out within 5 min, so problem not done either. No leadership came to apologize. I wanted nothing for free which is why I still ordered my norm. It’s the lack of empathy and customer service. Being a healthcare executive right next to this location upsets me because I would never treat them that way if at my organization. One thing I pride myself and my team is customer friendly service. At this point I probably will not come back to this location but based on how I was treated they probably would not care.
