Update on 09/25/25: Still just the slowest, most depressing Chick-fil-A in all of Jacksonville, Florida. I've been to almost all of them at least once. It's just sad because it used to be one of the best. Disappointing that the main company isn't taking any of these reviews seriously.
Update on 08/11/25: Still Terrible. They separate the mobile order line from the regular driver thru line. This is the only location in the whole area that i have seen do this. The problem is that even now the majority of people still just drive thru and don't give two hot gangs about the app or mobile orders. Then they have one sad little employee who always looks sad and dejected to take orders for the much longer, now much s l o w e r line of only drive thru while the mobile order line is literally empty 95% of the open hours of the location. To be honest, the only reason this location stays open is because it's so far to the next location in any direction people are willing to suffer through the horrible service for the food. That's it. They always seem short staffed and the atmosphere and attitude overall of this location is just exasperation and sadness. What happened Roosevelt's Chick-fil-A? What happened?
Aug 2022: I lived in this neighborhood for 6 years. This WAS one of the best Chick-fil-As in Jacksonville. Right up until March 2020. It's been all downhill since then, when the same isn't true for the other Chick-fil-As around the wider Jacksonville area. They were the very last location to reopen their dining room in all of the wider Jacksonville area. A strange step for one of the busiest locations in all of Jacksonville. They were closed around one full year longer than every other location. They have never reopened their play area, which they told me they are removing completely, even though all other locations that have a play area have reopened the play areas. No reason not to open the play area until they remove it officially sometime in the next two years. Now they have finally added a permanent outdoor cover for the drive through workers. However, they have closed one lane for ONLY app orders which is never full or busy, causing all other customers to have only ONE DAMNED LANE to order and pickup their food. This has made everything run MUCH slower, and less efficiently, including the traffic in the parking lot and drive through lanes around the building. It used to be that a double line encircling the entire building only meant a 10 to 15 minute time from joining the line to driving away with your food. But not now. If the person in front of you takes a long time to order, everyone just waits on one extra long, extra slow line while ONE FLIPPING CAR zips through empty and almost unused second lane. The employees confirmed that MANY customers have been complaining about the MUCH slower, MUCH less efficient process and the increase in cancelled orders, drive offs, and generally more disgruntled patrons. This literally used to be one of the best Chick-fil-As in the entire wider Jacksonville area. Now, if it isn't the worst, it's very close. The staff is still very nice and polite. I'm not sure how long that will last. When the patrons are unsatisfied, it isn't management that bares the brunt of that dissatisfaction, it's the staff and turnover quickly increases. I hope this location can stop making unforced errors and return to offering...
Read moreThis was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a Chick FilA before. If I could give it 0 stars I would honestly. I placed my breakfast order at around 9-ish and was told by the app it would be here around 10:20/10:30. No order. I checked the app, the time got moved back to 10:5010:55. I called the restaurant and was told that they had one driver and that they were delivering in "batches" and that my order was ready to go out and was just waiting on the driver to return. The order still wasn't here by 11:05 so I called back and asked where my food was. I was told to wait on hold for 3 minutes while she tried to contact the driver. She said she would call me back when she had gotten in contact with the driver. She never called me back. Another lady called me and told me that "we cancelled your order a while ago because the driver didn't make it back in time to deliver the rest of breakfast and we didn't have any more biscuits to prepare your order". When I asked her why it wasn't said before then in the other 2 phone calls I had with them, I was told because the lady answering the phone doesn't even work for that location and was working off site. After confirming the driver never called or messaged me, she informed me that I could just place a lunch order and it would be delivered......when I asked would it take as long as the first time she said no but failed to provide an actual time frame. And when I mentioned that it took several hours just for them to tell the truth, she proceeded to inform me that since the order was placed around 9:30 and it was only 11, that it had ONLY been 2 hours and wasn't that deep. I will NOT be going back to this Chick Fil A ANY TIME SOON! The sheer audacity and rudeness is appalling to me. I have worked for Chick Fil A before, and I can assure you we were NEVER trained to lie to a customer or be rude to them. We were also taught that since the order was placed within the time of breakfast, our mess up doesn't mean they don't get their breakfast. I will be calling corporate as this isn't the first time I've dealt with this from...
Read moreYou may need to pay more so you can hire more people the people that you have working there today my experience they were very tired, they ruined my order. I'm on the road traveling and there's only one reason I picked Chick-fil-A is because I know I'm going to get good quality service every time the people working outside on the drive-thru are very tired because they messed my order up three times still my food was cold. they never gave me the condiments that I asked for as I said before your staff is tired please hire some more people so you can switch them up regularly so that they can be fresh for each person. I had to pull into a park and get out of my car and walk up and ask for the condiments that I had asked for originally in my meal then the young man was so tired he didn't even want to come to my car although I was parked right at the drive-thru beside the security car and you could tell he didn't even want to walk over there he held the condiments up in the air as if I was supposed to come and get them I was not. when I first drove up to place my order the young lady was very nice she took my order I paid and went around when I went around they kept coming to my car with different people's orders they have no idea who their servicing at what time. then when you get your order you find that the items are not in your bag I ordered half and half tea and lemonade of course they gave me tea that had no sugar in it because the whole drink was nothing but water I'm very disappointed with Chick-fil-A you must hire more people so you can stop wearing out the few that you have then they can give good customer service pay more! you make enough money to pay them more Chick-fil-A I know it's the pandemic and everybody is busy but you still must give quality service if someone pays a quality dollar.
4 yrs ago Kiah was very helpful and nice! I appreciated her attentiveness at the...
