I know that everyone says it, but really I don't usually leave negative reviews. I've worked restaurants and retail so I know how much of a struggle it can be but my frustration level with this store comes from multiple poor experiences. Most recently, I tried to place a lunch order one day during the week and ended up having to call and cancel the order after it had not even hit the prep stage after an hour. I did call to check on the order before cancelling and it was confirmed they had not been able to start making it due to being short staffed (which is the company's fault and not theirs). Gave them another shot on the weekend (I've been craving pizza) and the system notified me that my food was cooked and in the process of being delivered. Had to call the store twice just to get anyone to answer and was told they received 4 orders all at once so things were a bit backed up. Totally understandable. My confusion was of course that the system was telling me that my order had been out for delivery for over 30 minutes at that point. I was told that was not the case and to call back if there were any issues with the food being cold once it was delivered. Great. Fast forward another 20 minutes (half an hour past the original estimated latest delivery time but w.e.) and the delivery driver calls for directions so I meet him outside my apartment building. He hands me two boxes where I immediately know dipping sauces are missing but that is when he asks me to check to see if it is the right order.... I look in the top box and unsurprisingly, it is not. Neither item he handed me is from my order. I hand him the food back and told him not to worry about it as he seemed very upset over the mix up. I then called the store to cancel the second order of the week. My advice? If you're in the Baymeadows area, order from any other pizza store. Honestly, you could probably go to the store, purchase ingredients, drive back home, prep and cook the food yourself all in the time it takes them to even look at your order in their system. Read moreIn the last few weeks, I have ordered delivery three times from this location. The first time, they forgot one of the desserts that I ordered. I called and the manager offered to send another driver or put a credit on my account so that I could get the dessert the next time I ordered. I took the credit, because I didn't want to be a hassle and have another driver come out. The manager was at least professional and resolved the situation quickly.
The next time I ordered everything was fine, although it was a minor annoyance to have to call and wait on hold to place my order so that I could redeem my free dessert. The credit on my account could only be used over the phone. I normally order though the app.
Today I ordered two sandwiches; a philly cheesesteak for myself, and an italian for my fiancee. Instead of my fiancee's sandwich, there was a second philly. Before calling to address the mistake, I pulled up my online order to be sure that I hadn't accidentally ordered two cheesesteaks. I had not.
Upon calling, I was immediately put on hold for several minutes. I explained my situation to the first person to pick up the phone. I didn't get their name. They said they would get the manager, who introduced herself as Amy. I explained the situation again to Amy, who then put me on hold. Someone else picked up. He said his name was Ron. He told me that I ordered two philly cheesesteaks, and if I wanted to order a different sandwich he could ring me up. I told him that I had just checked my order and that was not the case. Read moreMy boyfriend and I every now and then try to give this specific dominos another try, after tonight we won’t do it again. In the past we have placed orders and they take forever to get to us, once even was called and hour before they were closed to tell us they are cancelling the order not giving us an option. Tonight we ordered at 8pm, the food was in “quality check” for an hour when we called at 9:20 after waiting a while on the terrifying sounding ringing phone finally someone answered saying they were 20 orders deep and that they can’t guarantee our order to be to us in ‘13 minutes’ and before letting us talk the gentleman asked almost insisting if we wanted to cancel the order. We did not want to cancel the order we just want our food. We did not want to wait the 10 ish days it’s going to take to get a refund (like it has in the past when we were forced to cancel the order) Our delivery finally left the store at 10:19, with estimated 6minutes away. It continued to bounce between 6 and 4 minutes away for an hour. We finally got our order at 11:10. Over 3 hours of waiting for our food, 2 small pizzas cheese bread and lava cakes. Not a large order.
