My wife and I ordered food to be picked up we spent a lot of money on this order for the family. I went to pick it up and when I got there there was a young kid with glasses that package the bags he put all of the heavy stuff on top of the dinner orders that were light which preceded to crush and ruin over $100 worth of food. I asked for a manager who then proceeded to come out and give me the most racist look that I have ever experienced in my 56 years of living. I explained to him what happened still continue to give me racist dirty looks and didn't even offer to redo the dinner that was ruined or take the money off the bill to give me the money back for the dinners that were ruin that my wife and I ended up throwing in the garbage. And this is who they make a manager it's embarrassing to Longhorn, it should be anyway as a retired veteran of the United States Army Special Forces this type of behavior should not be allowed and is an embarrassment to anyone that has a business that would hire someone like this as well as the kid that crushed the dinners and basically looked at me with the look like so what I just ruined your dinners what are you going to do about it. When I called to speak to another manager Longhorns proceeded to put the same manager that I had the problem with back on the phone even though there was another manager in the building and instead of apologizing he made things worse this manager's name is Chase and as far as I'm concerned a total embarrassment to Longhorns if I was the manager and this situation happened to a customer I would put the customer first just like I risked my life for this country during combat but because places like this and the people that they choose to put in charge to represent them have no respect for the United States Army or for an elder like myself and my wife but get no respect from this 19-year-old kid just shows what Longhorns represents I have still yet to get a phone call from corporate and I'm anxious to see how they will resolve this situation again if it were me he would be fired as well as the individual that package the food these two individuals have no respect and it's unfortunate they weren't born on generations to go where they're actually were people that grew up learning respect unfortunately I no Longhorns will never fire them but it's okay I have a lawyer and we will see how this goes. Also if I could give the review of zero Stars I would have done that and if you look at the reviews on managers how in the world does Chase still have a job when you can see that other customers have said how rude he is and trust me I experience this first hand the rudeness the disrespect the clear racism, now I'm not a young kid I'm 56 years old if you think that I don't know what a racist is then whoever believes that is wrong this kid is clearly a racist and has no business working with the public if Longhorns has any kind of decency they would let this Chase Manager Go obviously if you look at the reviews he isn't any good...
Read moreMore could have been done and Management customer service is dead. I was so looking forward to a good time with my friend and a great steak dinner. Not what happened. Good time with friend, check, but the steak came out WELL done and I asked for medium rare. I tried a bite but it was like chewing on a rawhide. The waitress was able to get one redone but I didn’t want to have my friend waiting for my dinner to be corrected and not eat hers out polite etiquette, so I kept the baked potato. So I filled up on baked potato. When they brought my new steak it was rare with light brown on the outside and blood on the plate as I cut into it. At this point I was not going to wait again and was filling from the baked potato. I asked the waitress to address the charge on the meal and she said since I ate the potato they would only comp the 25% of my meal. I asked for the manager and a person came out and asked what was wrong. Once I addressed the issue she looked at me and said “Oh” and left. Then another person (manager) came out and asked me also what was wrong. After letting her know my grievance she said she can only do 25% since I had my potato and wanted to take my steak home. I went there to enjoy a steak dinner with good intentions of meal and drinks. Not a baked potato. I was not going to eat a WELL done steak or not to my liking Rare steak. She said it was 25% only. I then told her that is on them for not providing the meal I asked for and she shrugged her shoulders. I said fine do what you have to do but this won’t bring me back to Longhorns and she shrugged her shoulders again as to not care and walked away. Though the whole thing I was cool headed and polite but seems like customer service and food to order was lacking at this location. I did not go in to this restaurant wanting a free meal but do expect what I ask for in a meal. I eat out plenty and take care of the staff accordingly. Hate that now I’m soured from my experience. I know I’m only one person and in the scope of things this management couldn’t care less if I never come back but I care and did not I did not get to enjoy my meal with my friend. - I normally take pictures but my friend was working though the loss of her mother in our conversation and I did not want to pull out my phone to take pictures of the leather steak or...
Read morePoorly managed restaurant where employees are allowed to humiliate customers 😞 I visited on a Sun w/my fiancée & son. We were waitlisted & sat at the bar for a libation. I asked to be seated at a bar table, as two were available, and are available on a 1st come/1st served basis. Two bartenders (Michael, Billy) declined availability due to staff shortage (no one to wait tables) I accepted & continued to wait. Moments later a woman walks in w/a dog in a stroller (not a service animal) and is seated at the bar table I had just requested. I asked bartender “Michael” why I was denied? He became enraged & replied that Billy knows her personally & reserves the right to make decisions about bar seating. He offered to get me a manager but proceeded to humiliate me and speak down to me in front of the other patrons, so I remained silent & went to speak to the hostess, who was calm. (Clint, the manager on duty, would not come out of the kitchen, but heard the entire scene) While I asked the hostess to seat me, who was very kind and happy to oblige, Michael continued to berate & verbally offend my fiancée & 12 year old son. The hostess tried to shush Michael and gave us the General Manager’s name/number for us to contact later & report the incident, being that Manager “Clint” was not capable of maintaining respectful behavior/decorum by his employees. We left & ate at the Arlington location. We did report it to Dave Hogan, the manager, who did nothing but say “I’m sorry”. He didn’t even take our number to call us back after he spoke to the employee, who should be terminated or at the very least, retrained in humanity. I never raised my voice at Michael. I walked away when he became irate. I was polite to Dave Hogan. My family visited there 2-3 times a month when my family member was dying of cancer. It was a healthy meal we could share and it was convenient to the hospice. But we will NEVER go back. My sister was there the other day and Michael is still working there. Mr. Dave Hogan, shame on you. The key to success is a REPEAT customer. Thank God for Mr. Todd and the staff at the...
