I mistakenly ordered a Pizza and Cheese bread at the wrong location. The one of Kernan is behind BJs and not really on a road per se its back off, so I made the terrible assumption is was on Atlantic as well. I arrived on time to pick up the pizza, the young lady at the counter asks my name. Cant find the order. I show her my receipt on my phone. Asks my number, looks in the computer, then says oh it must be in the oven. Now I'm waiting and waiting, they never motion to me or anything. 20 minutes later I walk back in, she says something to some guy and points at me, the guy asks me for my number, looks in the computer, a few minutes pass and he is baffled. I show him my receipt on the phone AGAIN, (Mind you we are now like 30 minutes into this). I read their receipt number off to him, deer in headlights. Finally he says and he says of that is the one at the beach. We drive 15 minutes out to the beach, get there tell the man what happened. I say I hope my pizza is not cold. Deer in headlights again. He asked me who helped me at the other store and explained it is the same Franchisee at both locations and he knows him. Mr. Franchisee both locations need SERIOUS training in customer service. Your pizza was average at best. The cheesy bread was a whole lot of bread, with a small compliment of cheese I am not sure i could really find the cheese to be honest. And I ordered beef jalapenos pineapple and black olives and some one mixed into our pizza sausage here and there, my wife and I cant eat pork it makes us sick. When you eat the piece separately to taste what it is, the sausage tasted kinda nasty to be honesty, like a frozen meat you would buy from Walmart. i imagine you buy your food from Beaver Street Foods or Cheney Brothers, and probably get a big 10 lb. box of that frozen nastiness. What a horrific first experience, two locations and both are poor at best in solving a situation. The beach should have said, he let us make it right, I am going to remake this so its nice and fresh, sorry for the confusion. I mean it is the same dude's money that owns it, and you want customers to come back. NOPE we got cold pizza. The first lady instead of making us wait could have called the other location, or a whole bunch of other things she could have done, instead in both locations they just go back to talking to each other and not working very hard. What a terrible experience. Sadly we are tossing the...
Read moreNot really a fan of Marcos anymore, when they first came to the area we decided to try them and they were good. After awhile their quality and service deteriorated, their websites nothing but issues, from the mobile website to desktop it glitches and bugs out. Not against calling in a order but every time I've called one in I get on the phone with some dude who's ridiculously rude and condescending. Not even trying to play it up, the last time we ordered from here I had to call it in and requested a specific pizza that was listed on the website as new and he answer "Ew no we don't sell that anymore it's gross, why would anyone want that?"; so I just said well I like it he says "Well you must like nasty stuff not sure what to tell you, we don't sell that anymore." This was in regards to their margarita pizza by the way. This wasn't the only occurrence with rude customer service over the phone here, I have called in orders about 4 times from here and each time from the tone and wordage used by the worker answering the phone makes it feel like I'm wasting his time and shouldn't have bothered calling.
Honestly the drivers are always awesome and respectful they work hard for their tips.
The website seems like it changes every 2 weeks with them trying to fix it or something, but it only becomes a headache to place an order on. Tried placing a order on the phone 3 times for it to close out my order when I enter the card details and I have to reenter my entire order. Never had this issue with any other pizza place.
I would 100% recommend the salads and the limited time specials, they do offer unique and good tasting stuff regularly; but this shouldn't be a regular pizza spot. Tons of other places that are just significantly easier to deal with and give you a...
Read moreThe Jacksonville,Fl location My boyfriend and I often try new places.Tonight we tried Marco’s we walked in and there was one girl at the front taking both walk in orders and phone calls. It wasn’t that busy but after placing our order many more people began to come in.The girl in the front called for help SEVERAL TIMES.the guys in the back took a look at the line and pretend that he didn’t see that the line gradually growing and the phone ringing off the hook.So he went back to a corner and hid. We were still waiting on our food.many people began walking out .Some who placed orders online recieved cold pizzas and they didn’t know about where three of the people orders were. The girl at the front then began asking who took these orders no one answered.FROM that point everyone order was messed up.I ordered a small chicken fresco with parmesan crust and my boyfriend ordered a salad. We received our food before the lady that was ahead of us.There was no Parmesan crust on my pizza. He didn’t get any dressing with his salad either.Went back up there to get hot ranch. The manager didn’t come out once and apologize to ANYONE for the inconvenience.Sounds like there’s room for lots of improvement.I gave a 3 star because the pizza was wonderful just wish I...
