Miller's Ale House — Restaurant in Jacksonville

If I could give zeros all across the board that's what this would get, it was sucky service, food, and atmosphere all night. The waiter was creepy and the manager had insincerity for the bad experience. I would like to start that the entirety took 3 hours for simple meals and we didn't even eat it with how bad the food was the shrimp was cold as was the fajitas and ribs, it was all very bland. The steak was burnt, the shrimp was under done and the ribs were dry.they tried to charge for extra sides we didn't even order. We only seen the waiter a few times and they were awkward. When it came time we ordered dessert it was the Capt treasure ice cream cake and the strawberry cheesecake. The waiter brought out the wrong one after while ordering it we showed him a picture and he forgot the cheese cake, just to when bringing out the cheesecake and correct dessert to be served with dirty dishes and spoon that literally had food still on it touch the food, we had spoken to the manager as granted it took 3 hours for a birthday dinner that was ruined by coming to a place like this all the manger said was sorry and said she will comp the shrimp but basically ignored the issue of her server serving people with dirty dishes and we had told him hey you gave us dirty dishes he goes did I hand them out like this, like he didn't believe it had food on it as well as the list of other things he did wrong . Just to when we get everything we can't even eat it as the ice cream cake melted halfway and the cheese cake to be hot and not taste right like it was no good. Went here for my birthday dinner. Usually we get super friendly people and decent service, minus the hair in our shrimp the previous visit, but today it was horrific!! The waiter took over an hour to bring us our food, which was half cold or completely incorrect. We politely accepted it because he seemed to be newer staff and everyone makes a few mistakes here or there but when you make 20 it's outrageous. Like I said a few things were wrong with the order and our party made some exceptions but then we ordered desert. We ordered the captain Jack's buried treasure ice cream cake and a slice of there strawberry cheese cake. We get the ice cream cake slice first and even after showing him the picture from the menu he came back with something completely different. We politely told him and he went off to fix it as it was for my birthday. While waiting for that to be fixed he came back with the strawberry cheese cake with a USED spoon. Yep that's right USED!!!!! He then goes oh did I really bring it out like that then only wanted to take the spoon back. It CONTAMINATED the cheesecake why would i want that slice. He proceeded to get upset that we asked for a new one. Then he brings the corrected ice cream cake out out with you guessed it not 1 not 2 but 4 more USED SPOONS. Then proceeds to get offended when we talked to the manager, who goes oh sorry I'll take the shrimp off your bill, and walks away. After prom a group of my friends came in and tried to get a table. The host at the front (TJ was his name) was so rude and didn't look or act like he wanted to serve or help us. He was so unprofessional. Your job as a host is to greet customers not make them want to turn around and go eat somewhere else. We ended up staying and eating. Our server was very inattentive to our large group that we had to consistently ask for refills, she rarely checked in on us. We were heading out when i asked for his name and he gave it to me and said are you going to get me fired with such an unprofessional and sarcastic attitude. Though i didn't hear him my friends told me. I was sick of this guys attitude so i asked for a manager. And the manager did nothing abt the situation, didn't even listen to me speak. All he said was that he (TJ) normally isn't like this and that he's sorry if he offended me. Also, this girl instigated and said please do, as in getting him fired, her name was Ros something. No one was talking to you stop instigating. Then they went to the bank to talk about me. What kind of employees is this franchise hiring? Gene. Your employees are trash and you are as well. You did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help the situation. I couldn't care if he isn't like this normally he can get his act together or quit if he can't handle a simple job.
