I had a death in my family, needed to leave town, and desperately needed a perm. My stylist from another JCPenney’s was on vacation. I called the Avenues and Jazz was recommended.
She made a lasting impression at my first visit. After I requested a style she listened to my concerns, looked at the condition of my hair, and made some suggestions.Jazz knew my stylist was on vacation and understood that would be my only visit with her. Inspite of that, she continued to educate me about how to hold the style she created and how to keep my hair healthy in the future. It is now 3-4 years later.
Jazz is a great stylist, not because my hair looks cute the day I leave the appointment but because I trust her. I trust her for these reasons: -I don’t have to keep one eye open when she’s doing my hair 😉. Nor, do I need to look in mirror before leaving the salon.
-She doesn’t recommend products just to make a sell. She recommends products that she’s using either for the style she is creating or for the health of my hair. Make no mistake, I do have my fair share of JCPenney’s products that I’ve been using for years.
-If I ask for a new style or color she will create that style or say, “ I can create that style but here’s what will happen.” Sometimes a style can be prolonged due to the condition of my hair of which I appreciate.
-She let’s me know if my treatment at home is damaging my hair because she cares.💕
-Lastly, I trusted her to help me transition from a perm to natural. I’ve tried countless times to go natural and failed returning to a perm. When I mentioned it to Jazz she said, “if that’s what you want let’s do it.” And we did. She cut off all of my hair leaving enough to make a tiny curl. Thinking back it makes me tearful 😢 because I couldn’t have done it without her. For anyone looking for a great stylist that won’t disappoint I...
Read moreThe ladies that worked the jewelry department were rude and very unattentive. One had blond hair, short Hispanic lady walked behind the counter, passed us twice without acknowledging that we needed help. When we asked the not so thin Indian lady that was working behind the backside of the jewelry department she replied with, "I'm leaving so I can not help you, but someone else will." After 20 minutes of waiting she was helping another customer. When asked what happened? I thought you were leaving, she loudly and rudely responded with, " I never said that!" "I'm here till close." She lied about going home and continued to argue with me. Responding back with a loud and rude tone. So, of course, I got loud back and told her to get a better life. She replied with, "I have one! Thanks! When I asked for the manager, she said the manager was the one that ignored you twice and walked away laughing! I followed and asked for her name. She refused to give me her name. I let her know that I work in management, and If I was her manager, I would get rid of her because of the way she treats the customers. She replied back with, " good for you!" She then gets on the intercom and asked for another associate to help with the customers at the jewelry department. The supposedly, "assistant manager" came and asked what was going on, so I told her what happened. The lady behind the counter continued with her loud attitude to the point that the "assistant manager" had to tell her to calm down and let her handle the situation. After she asked what we needed help with, I responded with nevermind, you just lost a sale and left the store. This happened...
Read moreWas very happy to find the exact refrigerator I was looking for. I purchased it that day and set up an appointment for delivery. After one week my day off was changed and I called the "JCPenney" customer service number (It was not, it was GE delivery) and scheduled my new appointment 1 week earlier than when I originally did. They moved it to the earlier date and said that was no problem. The delivery day came and I waited and waited and never got a phone call like I was promised saying the delivery truck was on its way. So I called the "JCPenney" customer service number to check on my shipment and they said they never received the refrigerator from Samsung. I was very confused and explained that I called and explained that I called and rescheduled my delivery and there must be a mistake. They told me that Samsung was not contacted and they did not ship it to GE Delivery. I was told to call JCPENNEY and I said I called the JCPENNEY customer service number. He explained they just do the deliverys and gave me the "Real" JCPenney phone number. I called that number and talked to someone in Chicago! And they apologized and said they would compensate me and reschedule my appointment. I was upset but happy they were working with me. Today comes by THE DAY OF DELIVERY and I called the JCPENNEY/GE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER, AND WAS TOLD THE APPOINTMENT was not rescheduled and my refrigerator will not be here today. I tried to talk to a manager and was on hold for an hour before being disconnected. I STILL DONT HAVE MY FRIDGE, was not compensate in any way, have now missed two days of work AND AM VERY...
