Helloo Boba — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I just left this place and I went because I seen it on my FYP on Instagram and I went with my bf and my friend and the cashier was a girl with black hair and no lips and spoke little English. she started talking to me in Spanish right away because of my skin tone and I tried to correct her but she didn’t hear me or understood me but she was very rude after the fact I wasn’t speaking to her in Spanish and got frustrated and gave ugly looks with such attitude I will definitely not go back in there if she is working there and I will make sure that everyone else who I know not to go there either because what kinda service is that and she did not give us a receipt and when I asked she said no and then gave another attitude like this is my first time ever and someone not give me my receipt why have an option for it but can’t give me my receipt makes no sense to me. How do I know y’all aren’t scamming me and the menus were all over the place like there just not organized in there at all the place looks nice but when I asked for the where my options were, she told me very quietly so I asked her to repeat herself and she catched another attitude. Like girl calm down if you can’t deal with customers then don’t work where you have to deal with people. Smh. Definitely don’t recommend this place if that lady is in there because you will have the same customer service as I had. And they should really get name tags so I could name this girl. Really hope she gets fired soon and hire...

From the moment my husband and I walked in today, it was a wonderful experience. The cashier at the front register was super friendly and welcoming. We ended up stopping in twice on our visit to the Avenues Mall, once for just drinks, which were made in record time, then a second visit where we tried their pastries and sweets in addition to two more drinks. We tried their green tea cheesecake, their carrot cake, and their Dubai strawberry cheesecake.

The green tea cheesecake was not heavy at all, and the flavor was perfect, not too strong on the green tea, but flavored just enough that it was able to be tasted. Definitely a 9/10!

The carrot cake was moist, not dry at all, and the icing was even throughout the pastry. Very sweet, but not overly rich. 7/10, and worth the try!

The star of the second visit though, was the Dubai strawberry cheesecake. Smooth and creamy cheesecake, topped with the kataifi and pistachio cream, then freshly cut and marinated strawberries. It was incredible from first to last bite, and it pleased both myself, a lover of the Dubai chocolate craze, and my husband, for whom this was his first experience with it. 10/10, don’t sleep on this!!!

Our drinks both times were flavorful and well balanced with our choices of boba/popping pearls. The staff was incredible and interacted with us very positively. Overall we are definitely pleased with both visits, and we intend on coming back to support! Thanks for everything, guys!...

Not only was the wait 30 minutes (which is insane), but the boba milk tea did not taste like milk tea- it was more like just milk. A lot of the reviews for this place are mainly talking about the disappointing boba, and saying the service was good, but I disagree. The service was not good, they had one staff member when the store had around 10 customers and she had to run around the building. I feel bad calling out this worker specifically, because she may have just been having a bad day; however, I feel as though the training for this position should have been done differently. She was not handling the multitasking that comes with this role well, switching between taking no orders and working on just one to taking all three orders of the people in line and proceeding to wait to hand out the orders for each person until all three of them were done. There was also no place for her to rest the drinks when they were complete, she had to hand them over the counter. For the price of this boba, it should not just be syrups, but real steeped teas. Not to mention the 16 dollar desserts- extremely overpriced. Finally, a small detail, but the atmosphere was not very pleasant, there was no music playing and you didn’t hear anything besides the boba machine. Overall very disappointing and would...
