I always come to this Wendy’s and I know things are different now with covid, but online it says pickup and drive thru is available. When I got there the line was extremely long, wrapped around the building, so I figured I’d order on my phone for pickup since it’ll be faster. Every other fast food place right now has takeout, you can go inside, pick up your food and leave. I assumed it’d be the same for Wendy’s. When I tried going inside all the doors were locked so I tried calling. I called multiple times and no answer. I was parked and my only option was to ask the lady at the drive thru. I respectfully asked how it works for pickup since we can’t go inside and she said I had to go through drive thru which makes no sense because that defeats the purpose of takeout or pickup. She looked at me clueless, wasn’t very friendly, and by the time I got to the window a different girl was there who also just handed me my food and didn’t say anything as if I did something wrong. I just think the whole system could go smoother if people could actually pick up their food or have someone come out to bring it to cars. Their reaction to my questions was the main reason for my review because at least if they were respectful or apologetic for the confusion it woulda made me feel better about wasting 45 minutes of...
Read moreToday, incompetence went hand in hand with rudeness. Most times, at any given Wendy's something on the order is wrong; usually my granddaughter's burger, she hates cheese. Got to drive thru about 1:15. The order taker was fine, repeating my request for a regular single hamburger. Felt confident they got it right this time. Picked up 1:30, got home 1:50, with traffic and local speed limits. Opened my granddaughter's order...double cheeseburger. Cheese melted in completely, so I can't take it off. Perfect situation for cheese lovers. In the past, when this error was made, they said to keep the wrong order, and they replaced with the correct item. Called store to tell them; no one answered the phone. Back in the car, another 20 minutes to get there; drive thru backed up, so I parked and walked in. The person I explained the wrong order to grabbed the sandwich out of my hand, crushed it, and threw it into the garbage, then told me to wait and she'll get me the burger. She proceeded to take the person behind me, take the order, and fill it before getting me the lukewarm burger I probably originally ordered. My granddaughter had her lunch alone at 2:30. The time and gas wasted added injury to insult. No shade on the order taker. He was good, and I know he...
Read moreSuper livid! I ordered the Jr. Bacon cheese burger, comes with meat, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. I get all the way home and they gave me the Jr. Cheeseburger deluxe. There was so much ketchup on it, it was oozing out the sides, all over the bun top and made all the bread soggy. I called the manager super angry, I admit that. I told her that the guy put in the completely wrong thing in the computer and didn't read my order back. I was angry, yes I know. That being said I work customer service. The manager kept cutting me off and then told me to calm down, I need to listen to her. Umm chick you keep interrupting me which is just making me madder. You never tell a customer to calm down. You let the customer vent then come at them calmly. Didn't do that at all! I order the same thing from there every time. Now I have to go back to get it made properly. She did offer a refund and to make the proper items. I shouldn't have to go back! You should always retell the person their order and you shouldn't have so much ketchup on a bun that it made the bun inedible!!!! I cant figure out how to upload my pictures I took when I opened the wrappers up to show you what it looked like. If I served that to one of my customers I'd be...
