We went to this location for the first time 2.10.25. They have been open just a month, enough time to work out issues, so we thought. Inside it looks nice new and fresh
The 1 positive, was the young man who came and gave us the missing items. I wish I had gotten his name, but he apologized profusely for all of the inconveniences and was the best part of that trip. I also think they may have added a couple pieces of bacon for forgetting my order and having me have to return to the counter, but I just wish they had better customer service. I'll take that over extra food any day.

Read moreI just left here after ordering a meal with a add- on shake. 1. The shake machine was down, so I ask for a refund and the drink that originally comes with the meal. Before I'm given my refund she hands me the drink then proceeded to put money in register (not ringing anything up at that) . So I asked why on top of me already paying for the meal that comes with the drink I'm paying an extra fee to get the drink that is supposed to come with my meal. She then starts to insult me and catching an attitude with me all with the night manager standing right there. While explaining what happened to the. Manager she then says that she has people to take care of people like me (making a threat). Now I'm at a point of disbelief that the Manager would tolerate and allow this behavior. She is now yelling I'll slash your tires outside like she is trying to challenge me , all for asking why I was charged extra for a drink that comes with my meal. Mind you the food was cold and was wrong . I ended up throwing my food away cause I didn't trust it now. Whataburger used to be my favorite burger place but this has been by far the worst experience I've ever had with any food establishment & recommend to just pass this one up. They don't deserve 1 star , but I had to put something down in order to write this. Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the service and food quality I recently experienced at your Jacksonville location. I work from home and only have a 30‑minute lunch break, so I typically rely on quick service.
When I arrived at the drive‑through, I was first in line but noticed that one employee was leaving while another was arriving for their shift. They were conversing at the back door as I pulled up. I waited approximately five minutes at the speaker with no acknowledgment. I ultimately had to call the store, at which point the manager instructed the arriving employee to take my order.
After finally placing my order—two Whataburger Jr. meals with cheese and a chicken strip basket meal, all with root beer drinks—I waited more than 30 minutes in the drive‑through before receiving my food. Upon arriving home (a 7‑minute drive with traffic), I was very disappointed to find that the food was cold and stale. The fries were cold, the burger patties were hard, and even the buns were dry.
I called back and spoke with the general manager, Tre, who offered to remake the meal. However, I found his response to be dismissive and lacking genuine concern.
When this location first opened in Jacksonville, the service and food quality were excellent. Unfortunately, that standard has declined significantly, as this was my first serious issue but not my first unsatisfactory experience.
