Arby's — Restaurant in Janesville

Okay, the only good thing I can say about this establishment is the atmosphere in there was amazing. They were playing the office on the TVs and the place looked extremely clean. But aside from that I have no good news. Two of the staff members were making out up front and they didn't take my order for over 3 minutes when I was up at the counter. At which point the woman who took my order was very rude to me. I kept telling her I wanted a roast beef sandwich and she kept repeating back my order wrong. Even saying completely wrong items like "okay, you want the quarter pounder with cheese?" Like no I'm not at McDonald's. I think she might've been drunk. That being said they did get my order correct after the 50th time of me repeating myself. But it didn't matter the roast beef was very cold. Like it had been in freezer or something I don't know and my curly fries must've had hot sauce on them because my mouth was burning after eating them. It was so painful. I had to go back up and order milk to help with the heat in my mouth. Needless to say I did not ring the bell before leaving here. Absolutely absurd...

We were headed home from a long family vacation and needed a quick lunch and bathroom break. Three kiddos were done and over with the car ride.. not only was the staff (specifically a young lady) extremely understanding they literally provided me with the strength to get through the rest of the car ride! My daughter was loosing it while we were trying to order i apologized a few times because it was hard to hear over her. Not once did I feel inconvenienced, rushed, or embarrassed in fact the food had to be made fresh so we were asked to park again not an issue because everyone needed to run in for a bathroom break. When the lady came to deliver the food to us she told me she to is a mom and can relate! And let me say this..... that moment of relating instead of judging changed my entire mood for the trip. So whoever you are thank you!! This took place Wednesday 8/6/2025 afternoon...

Today 7-25-2025, I stopped at the Arby's in Janesville. I've been seeing the advertisement for their "new cheesesteak" Oh my God!!! Avoid that overpriced soggy bun!!! Don't order that whatsoever! It was very, very similar to a soup sandwich!!! Yes! That's how soggy it was! I'm particularly glad that I sat there to eat it. It would have created such a mess anywhere, but there. Never again! The meat was like chewing gristle. The meat was almost nonexistent. Over 13 dollars for something that I wouldn't feed to dogs! Horrible experience! Horrible value!
